I always buy organic vegetables so sooner or later I was going to learn about this. Doing the wash on vegetables before eating sounds like a must from now on. I'm kind of scared of green leafy veg now I've found out about this. I just learned in 80% of the world's countries insects are eaten. Maybe ...

Wow, that's quite a load you had to take on. I might start keeping broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower in a sealed container in the fridge because from what I've read online they are the most vulnerable to aphids feeding on them.

I found loads of tiny bugs/aphids in my broccoli as I was preparing my dinner. I threw it all out. They were so small I had to strain my eyes to realise they weren't just specks of colour or dirt on the broccoli but little creatures with moving legs. Has anyone else faced this conundrum? What did/wo...

Doing these things recently myself has brought me more affection from women: * Washing my armpits every morning with soap, unless I'm having a shower that day. * Swishing a tablespoon of coconut or sesame oil in my mouth for 10-20 minutes three days a week to clean my mouth and gums optimally. (It's...

Have you applied to be on the council housing list? If not, might be worth a look. The list can get you eligibility to housing association properties as well as council ones which tend to be newer, more attractive and better neighbourhoods. If you managed to get a council or housing association prop...

That's a brilliant creation. It deserves to be on a wall somewhere important. You have a talent, I think some NTs would get a better understanding of Autism looking at that picture than words alone could convey to them. The oxygen tank (I think?) into the mouth of a robotic head suggests even though...

It could be that Autistic people don't brush teeth or use mouthwash as much because our extra sensitivity with sensory input means we are more put off by the sensation of tooth brushing and swishing liquid around the mouth. As a child I hardly ever brushed my teeth and I ate a lot of sweets, chocola...

I was googling and found there is some evidence that Autistic people have more gum disease and tooth decay than NTs. What's your experience with teeth and gums? Do you have much pain?

Eat meats lower in fat as well as lowering carbs. I'd cut out pork, bacon etc. altogether. Eat beef no more than one day a week. So which meats should I eat the other six days per week? Chicken? Salmon? Chicken is alright but I wouldn't eat it every weekday because it still has a moderate amount of...

That Snowman song is magical. Sometimes I put the film on on YouTube and re-watch the first part where David Bowie introduces the story.

Ask yourself how much of the money you have, you actually need. Write down a list of everything you buy in a week, or a month. Consider what you could eliminate and what you could buy cheaper. Then maybe think about applying for part time jobs that are only in daytime and if you get them, you could ...

I feel trapped by life in general. I'm English but can speak Welsh fluently. What's the point of that? My head is full of romantic visions but the people around me are realists or pessimists. I'd like to create films that explore surreal stories or that simply express an emotion like love or a sens...
