I got to talking with some people and basically found out that they think I'm creepy. What is it about being autistic that gives a creepy outward appearance? I guess I'm on a mission to improve my impression of how I appear to others. I know I'm autistic, but I don't think that'd be an excuse to sto... |

I think the whole not realizing how things are put together thing might play at least a small role. It is frustrating, nonetheless. |

How many of you have a hard time opening things such as packages or even candy bars on occasion. Is this normal for someone with autism? Also, I bought myself some cables from RadioShack and exchanged it today after opening the package and realizing they were the wrong set of cables. The cashier who... |

I've had small amounts of pot and was told that it virtually cured my autism. Inside it didn't feel like it, but apparently I was less autistic from an outside perspective. I just felt like part of my brain was blocked off. Didn't really feel right with me. |

I've been rejected more times than I can count. I know how you feel, man. It's a part of being autistic I guess. |

I first heard about Aspergers and autism when I was about 10 years old. A teacher explained to me that a kid in a class I had, had Aspergers. My parents also told me I "was" autistic when I was younger, but grew out of it. As my eccentricities piled up and after countless teachers tried to tell me I... |

The helpdesk part is only one element of IT. There are different sectors of IT. For example, at my college, there are a few different IT programs one can go for. One is for designing websites, one is for networking (which is what I'm in), and there is one for help desk. I would recommend networking ... |
