Been binge watching Desperate Housewives lately, up to season 7 right now. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure, but the characters are amazing, and the storylines compelling, and it's an incredible TV show - would definitely recommend to anyone, guy or girl.

Used to get pretty anxious about driving, but now have been driving independently for two years, only a couple of collisions, and have driven my car all around the country, from rugged mountains to bustling cities. I love how much independence driving gives me!

My ex and I remained friends for a while, but ultimately I felt like I was way too attached to him and still viewed him romantically. After a pretty long phone call about my feelings for him, I came to the conclusion, with a bit of help from my friends, that maybe indefinite space from him would be ...

Hi team, Some of you long-time members may vaguely remember me - was pretty active back in 2010/2011 as a young teen. Throughout my teenage years I worked really hard to better my social skills, and nowadays my AS is pretty much undetectable to most, which I'm pretty proud of; not that AS isn't a gi...

So I'm not at university yet, but some of my high school teachers have given me a heads-up on what to anticipate in lectures. Obviously university-style teaching is a big step-up from high school teaching, but I think you'll get your head around it in time. Change can be hard, but it's also rewardin...

Your avatar is so ironic. Hah. Maybe it's just the sleep deprivation, but I'm genuinely laughing out loud at your avatar. I'm in an automatic too! I think at least beginning on an automatic means that there's one less thing to worry about when learning to drive. I have pretty decent motor skills, bu...

Do any other users here attend a private school? I'd love to hear about your experiences. I go to a private school in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have mates who go to public schools, and from what they tell me about their experiences, I doubt I'd be able to survive public school. From what I've hea...

So I got my learner's license about two weeks ago. Here in New Zealand, to get your learner's license you have to sit a fairly basic computer test. I think the pass rate's 32/25, and I got 33/35, so it's not like I aced the test, but still, I have my license. I always knew it would take a while for ...

I'm sure you can get the issue resolved if you just contact the person managing the courses?
If you really don't care, why would you make a thread about it? |

By 'autism' I'm presuming they're meaning Asperger's syndrome. I think it's best to differentiate between the two, as even though asperger's is technically a form of autism, labeling oneself as autistic evokes generalizations about severity. Nobody really knows I have asperger's. I'm quiet and shy, ...

I don't really write a lot of fanfiction these days as I prefer other forms of writing, but I do read a lot...especially in class. Famously, I was once reading a JohnLock (shipping of John and Sherlock) fanfic in physics class, and my teacher suddenly noticed I was busy on my laptop as opposed to do...

If you enjoyed The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I'd definitely recommend Looking for Alaska, and The Fault in Our Stars, both by John Green. They're fabulous.
