It is indeed called emetephobia. I had it and still do to a lesser extent. It is often caused by childhood trauma involving either yourself or seeing someone else vomit. In my case my Mum suffered from severe Menieres disease and every time she got a dizzy spell she would be violently sick. Just li...

I have this phobia too and it kind of ruins my life. Plus no one really understands. There's a forum for it, but reading the posts can make you more anxious!

I must admit I think eye liner on guys looks good. But that's only if they're famous and in a band. Seeing as it's not normal in society, I wouldn't want a boyfriend that wears it.

There's a guy in my support group who has been diagnosed with Asperger's but is known as 'atypical' because he has what appears to be normal eye contact but enough of the other criteria to fit the diagnosis. I think you should definitely see a professional if you think it is affecting your quality o...

A lot of tasks involved imagination/improvisation so it's not ideal if you get too much information beforehand as this could affect your results. I had questions about feelings such as "how does happiness feel?", "what makes you angry?". A task that involved making a larger shape out of smaller bric...

I had to go to a sixth form college as my school didn't offer A-levels at the time. To me it was a nice change once I got used to it as I was never happy at school. I think a college gives you more freedom. I applied to another school that did A levels and they had rules such as no smoking, no wacky...

How about a guinea pig? Although, I think you have to buy them in pairs (well it's recommended or they get lonely). They are easy to look after, just need to provide water, food and clean their cage out. They are also friendly (in my experience) and will happily sit on your lap for a cuddle. Also, I...

I'd recommend taking a couple of days off. For your sake so you can rest and recover quicker, but also for the sake of others.

Hope you feel better soon :)

I hated it and avoided it as much as possible. I got either notes from my mum (she also hated it when she was at school so was willing to write them for me). If I did participate I stayed away from the ball or whatever, walked (instead of ran) the hundred metres out of protest. I would swap teams du...

I remember thinking when I was younger that I didn't feel the natural urge to blink and that I had to force myself. Now though, I have blinking tics which cause the opposite and even more discomfort

For as long as I can remember I've always felt kinda nervous around season changes and I think it's because of the change, like you said. It's weird because even if I'm longing summer to arrive I still hate it for the first couple of weeks. I've never been able to pinpoint exactly why I don't like i...

I scored 70/72. The only reason I didn't get 72 was because I don't have synaesthesia (sp).
