Any advice appreciated, I am new to fiddling with computer hardware. Have basic software knowledge but not much confidence. When I insert a CD in my old and now the new DVD burner I bought, my computer reboots. A friend is going to have a look at it for me in a fortnight; I was wondering if anyone h...

They sound like pop up windows to me, but I'm a newbie myself. Try a pop up window blocker, I've got one on the Google toolbar. But it could be something else altogether..

Steve did so much for animal conservation and local tourism. I can just picture him in heaven saying "By Crikey, Mate" and looking after the animals up there. One example of what a kind man he was, was a local lady's son got lost at Australia Zoo. When she was reunited with him, her son was having a...

I do agree with Ticker, I went to a seminar for parents of children with Learning Disabilities the other week with Mel Levine. It's as though people, and children particularly are expected to be good at everything or good "all rounders". When they are not they are labelled. Although you couldn't say...

no, I can see why you came to that conclusion ROFL. It would have been bad timing, at the moment the government is paying "baby bonuses" here to women - something like $5000!!

I took the pill over a 10 year period with only one 9 month break. It am certain it was a contributor to my depression. I was taking it for PMS, which did make the PMS easier to manage, however it seemed to add a low level depression effect. The last one I was on is called Levlen here, prior to that...

Hi Jeremy, I'm not sure how old you are? I used to think the numbers people used in the usernames indicated their age, but that's not always the case. I like your Pink Floyd-like avatar. I was watching a friend's DVD the other night of them in concert. I was dx at the age of 30, and I got so obsesse...

I think some people have been a bit black and white about this, you've forgotten or may not have thought of some people are undiagnosed/have traits of Asperger's. For example, I remember when my ex had a job testing games, watching all the people from the company come out for lunch..ROFL Well it's j...

I does come and go. I have had it to the point of it being disabling, as I'm sure everyone else has here. On the hand bizarrely I have fewer difficulties with customer service. With one on one customer service work, especially on the telephone for myself, it's a lot less of a problem for me. This is...
