I've always been a fan of the mythology of diffirent cultures so alot of my knowledge comes from and branches from that. While doing my english course I was to study Doctor Faustus and Paradise Lost and I was the only one in my class to know of the Greek classics that the writers were refering too -...

Thanks for commenting :) Yeah it's kind of ambiguous if the reader doesn't know who I'm on about in the poem. Out of the 20 poems in the book this was one poem I thought should be aimed at the literacy boffins as the most of my poems are meant to be simple with direct meanings. Before I did my engli...

The book is called - Between the Lines of Autism. Shot Down in Flames by Joshua Davies (c) He fell ...

I guess you're personifying "love" as an actual partner, maybe refering to an actual relationship you have had?
Poems are a great way of dealing with depression, letting out caged emotions and allowing you to reflect on things

Hi Russell, I really liked your poems. I happen to be a poet myself, just recently self-published and I have struggled to get anywhere with my collection until just very recently. From reading "My Dream" I can see you're going through the same emotions I've felt. It really is a burning fire that kee...

The games I regret selling are Metal Gear Solid 4, The Suffering 2 and Resident Evil Nemesis (random I know). I sold a lot of Resident Evil games after being mentally scarred playing 3 and 2 when I was 11. Now I'm older I'm scared of the bad films and the first game's voice acting (Jill sandwich lol...

I love Heavy Rain too, the characters and the storyline were so submerging. I can't favorite out scenes or characters - it was all done so well!! I'm normally good at figuring out plots and storylines, but I never expected who the Origami Killer was - I was all like "No way!! !" :)

I like the symbolism and emotion it creates :) Though dark and saddening, the narrator gives me the impression that they are happy being alone.
You could always try self-publishing if you can't do traditonal publication.
