I almost feel the same way, especially when they sit me with people I don't know, even though it might be a family wedding. Just concentrate on the gorgeous flower arrangements, the ambiance, forget the people, just imagine you're there alone. Maybe scope out someone that looks sweet, and go up and...

I read that at least since the mid 90s, IQ in Germany has dropped steadily, but it's not clear why... I also observe that the students at university score lower and lower each year, despite the lectures and the questions really never changing much.. in fact, we have to make the tests easier in order...

Bateau wasn't k-lined, his bot was, because Taggard abused it...

Bateau only provided the bot to help people use the channel, when the CGI chat was broken.

You should thank Bateau or at least ask people to explain before you judge someone...

I want to apologize to everyone in #wrongplanet who was offended by my complaints. I didn't know that I was annoying many people, I just wanted to point out some things that I thought were obviously wrong, but maybe I was wrong doing that. I also want to thank people who have supported me. I hope th...

The whole cgi chat is banned because someone was causing problems in an unrelated channel. If the cgi chat is restricted to the #wrongplanet room only again I might be able to convince them to remove the ban. So unless Alex or any other site admin restricts the cgi chat again, nobody will be able t...

I think the current Ops are not bad at all, you have to thank them for putting in that effort anyway! But: they surely could use a little more help! And I think it could maybe be enough to just defend users by other users against trolls etc., just "support" the Ops a bit. I remember, that about a ye...

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post it, but I want to bring the situation in the IRC channel #wrongplanet to your attention. I have been attacked by some person from this site called "Okar", who even went as far as impersonating me and spilling out abuse to other members of the cha...

I do have very white, but can tan, I think I did spend a lot of time inside as a child so it may have had something to do with it. But not sure. Interesting... I got tanned as a young child, but not as an adult anymore. Now I just get sun burned. But I try to stay out of the sun anyway (partly beca...
