Thanks for the advice guys! Turning it around on her and being mean back is something I've actually already tried but I can never think of something to say to her. She's always able to out-insult me whenever I do try insulting her back though. I guess I should just spend some more time with the othe...

Maybe I should explain this a little more. I have already tried to explain to the mean girl how I feel about what she's saying but she just tells me I'm pathetic and I cant take a joke. I know she's mean to the others too but they can take it - she's not actually trying to be mean, it's just a joke....

Okay, so there are two main friendship groups in my life. One is great, I've known them for a while, but then there's this one girl who keeps being mean to me (I keep thinking I'm lying whenever I talk about this but I know I'm not, has anyone else ever thought this?) and because I've been avoiding ...

Kayla & Amy - You guys are amazing and you're so nice to me, I've lost count of how many times I've typed this whether you can see it or not, but it never seems like enough. Thanks for letting me hang out with you and your friends when I don't have anyone else, thanks for being there for me when...

I think she's just like that, she won't shake hands or anything and it seems quite extreme for someone to just be putting it on, but I guess my other friends don't really understand, I would get them to stop but they just ignore me most of the time. I've never thought of it as bullying - she gets mu...

I have a friend who has been being mean to me for around 2 years, and I have tried to explain how I feel but she says she doesn't realise what she's saying is offensive although I know she means to offend (for example if I didn't hear something she said, she would say "that's an insult by the way" a...

Hey thanks for the suggestions. My teachers probably think I am just being difficult as I don't have a diagnosis although a few of them have asked why but I'm not entirely sure how to explain it so I just said I dont know. When I am standing in front of a class I generally do stare at something off ...

I have a friend who hates being touched, she will squeal and jerk away if you so much as poke her. Some of my friends find this entertaining and poke her repeatedly which I find is quite mean. So don't overreact if someone touches you because your colleagues may then have some fun at your expense (a...

I don't know how to explain this, really. Basically, I've been freaking out a lot over classworks. There was an incident in my English lesson on Thursday where I didn't do the work but I've sort of written that one off as it was a speaking and listening activity. I say 'sort of' because I've done sp...

=When teachers say "Plan for this assessment you'll be writing next lesson" and don't explain it further so you have no clue what you are supposed to be doing. =When they give you loads of homework and you don't have time to do it. =When they don't explain the homework properly so you're stuck not k...

(Some of you may know I've recently had an argument with a friend of mine as I have also posted about that, please bear in mind that although it is connected this is a separate issue.) I have a few friends at school, and I used to enjoy being around them quite a bit. Recently, though, I've been avoi...

I do this too - I'm still worrying about things that happened two years ago. My best advice would be to just let it go - will it matter in a week's time? A month's? A year's? If the answer is no then why are you worrying about it, it's not really that big. If the answer is yes then think about why y...

There's a girl I used to be friends with who acts like she's the only one who can get offended by stuff. She will go off in a sulk if you say the slightest thing about her but she thinks it's okay to say things about me and my other friends. For some reason it always seems to be me, but maybe I just...

It's really hard for me to explain some things, and mostly I don't expect anyone to understand. It's harder to explain when I'm speaking, though, and it's easier to write. Sometimes, though, I panic and think, what if someone I know finds this? Someone from school? A teacher? What will happen then? ...

I don't know if this has anything to do with Asperger's or autism but I have a problem with homework. I have never done homework or had any help getting it done, and my teachers think I don't care about it but I do. I just don't do it. I don't know if this is a choice or not - sometimes it seems lik...

There is a boy in my class at school who has been 'making life difficult' for me since year seven (I am now in year nine) and he has said a lot of stuff about me. Generally he calls me 'it' 'spot' or 'thing', or something similar. Lately he has stopped doing this to my face as the other girls in my ...
