The movie with the best collection of test footage was Trinity and Beyond , with music by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and narration by... William... Shat... ner. Most impressive was the Soviet "Tsar Bomba". (King of Bombs) It was a 50 Megaton device that was a testbed for a 100 Megaton 8O bomb. Th...

My No1 MkIII* Lee-Enfield does that. I may need to give the feed ramp a good polishing.

Not if they actually have detailed book-keeping. The rifle stuff may be a worry, but I don't think trinitite will be as worrying. I mean, can you make a dirty bomb with glass? It'd be impractical, IMHO. I was thinking more on what the driver might report after he looks up the markings on the heavy ...

66F & Cloudy at just shy of 0700, but we had tornados back around 0315. Nothing but some power-flickers here at work, but I hear the ED downstairs got 5-6 folks who had to be pulled out of what's left of their houses.

On the Battlestar Aspica we throw crzay people out the airlocks. You don't "throw" people out of airlocks as much as "flush"..... (Toilet humour, here we come!! !) At $10,000 kg I will be dehydrating them for their water then storing that dried bodies to burn to regenerate and feed the green house ...

A while back, I ordered a framed piece of trinitite (the glass created from desert sand in New Mexico by the Trinity test) and some other stuff from a scientific supply company. It is (very) slightly radioactive, so it will arrive with the suitable hazmat label on the box. Some of the other stuff wa...
