Unfortunately, that's not an option: I haven't learned to drive because every time I try I get overwhelming an anxiety. That's why, in the very first post, I said that one of the requirements is "doesn't require a driver's license". But thank you for trying to help.

Unless it's someone I have frequent contact with, (or, sometimes, semi-frequent or less if they did something more memorable), then when I see them I'll recognize them as familiar, I'll know that I know them, but not be able to connect their name to them. Normally, I associate who someone is and wha...

Well, yes, obviously a job that works from home would be the best, but there are many of them and not all would be workable for me. (For example, a call center rep job can be done from home, almost always can have you set your own schedule, typically you can work as much or as little as you want wi...

Because, for one, I've never genuinely allowed myself to be entirely "me", so I don't really know who that is anymore, and for two, I'm mostly comfortable with it. It's not like I'm faking an entirely other person, just editing myself a bit. I'm more 'socially acceptable' this way, and thus have mor...

I think that it, for the most part, depends on the company you're with. For example, in school, I was bullied severely and was thought to be the loser of the school, and if I go visit my old best friend back in TX, her friends think I'm the epitome of uncool. However, on Tumblr, I'm somehow consider...

Personally, as an agender asexual panromantic female-bodied person with a girlfriend, (that was relevant, I think), I believe that using "ret*d/ret*d" in any other context than "They have a diagnosis of mental retardation" is bad, and I believe it to be worse than using 'gay' to describe something. ...

I dunno if this is the right category - if maybe I should have put it in the category for people with other ailments than ASDs - but I was hoping I could get some opinions/advice. I have a sleep disorder. When I allow my sleep to run naturally, going to sleep when I get tired, waking up when I wake ...

If it's any consolation, you did spell Asperger's correctly. (Hint, it's written on the home page). It's a proper noun, after Dr Hans Asperger, Austrian paediatrician. Haha, yeah. I was actually meaning that the word I spelled incorrectly was "apparently" (and that caused anxiety writing it correct...

(First, I know I spelled it wrong. I spell it apaprently due to a thing and also it feels better.) I was never 'Officially' diagnosed. When I was ten, I was going to be tested for Bipolar as part of a clinical study. I was DQ'd due to the psychologist deciding I fit the criteria for AS better, that ...

I don't believe any of these are 'Savant' level, however, some of my main, abnormal, talents include: I have a fairly good memory. At 15, I memorized 56 digits of Pi in about 20 minutes. At 16, I memorized the first 47 Elements on the periodic table (Atomic number, Name, symbol) in 15 minutes (I had...

These are the rules I generally use, and by no means do people try to dominate me- I have a fairly dominant personality. I'm not a pushover, and if there's an important argument, I'll go through with it, but when there are pointless arguments that could wind up screwing over a friendship if I contin...

I came up with a list of ten ways to "Be Diplomatic and Avoid Arguments" the other day, things I've noticed seem to help. I'd like y'all's thoughts/opinions? 1. Apologize. Even if you don't think it's your fault, even if they are completely in the wrong. Suck up your pride and say you're sorry. Now,...
