I find the description on wikipedia good enough. You can find some inspiration there when writing the text. I'm not considering this as judging people by overall intelligence. I fully believe that you can consider someone with a lower than average intelligence the most charming person you have met or in other ways just feel a connection. I am looking for the answer to why I can be less patient in specific...

In "Mozart and the whale" Isabella says "I suffer no fools". I see this in me. This annoyance of people who in one way or another are - for a lack of a better word - stupid. Which autistic traits would you link to this? In the moment when I react mindblindness and impulsiveness of course play their ...

I have previously experienced NTs seeing negative emotions in texts I have written when there was none. In another asperger forum I am a member of, I have experienced NTs expressing a concern that many of us were angry in the way we write, when in fact we just state facts and opinions and expect oth...

Thanks all, for your answers. You have all helped me with your interesting answers and I am now ready to write a response to the question. MrXxx, "You mean I'm not lazy, stupid or crazy?" (words in different order) is the title of a book by Kate Kelly and Peggy Ramundo. I purchased it when I first t...

I need your help. I am writing an autobiographical article. I diagnosed myself 2½ years ago and feel I have come to a good understanding of aspergers and how it has affected my life. But there is one question I have a hard time answering in a satisfying way, so I need you to help me along. I have wr...

"That person was most likely just a plain old criminal." No, he is a well-educated man doing well for himself financially.. I believe.. but beyond the education part its speculation.. He has been to jail for a violent crime, but it was impulsive violence because of another man hitting him first. He ...

yes, he is 'really messed up'. He finds satisfaction in stalking me, but there is a need to hurt me which can be compared to the need of one with a drug abuse; when he hurts me he gets this satisfaction, but it is a satisfaction he will soon feel the need to fulfill again and he will be marked by it...

from about dot com - cannot link as I have less than five posts on WP, but google 'stalking statistics': An estimated 3.4 million people were reported victims of stalking during a 12-month period in 2005 and 2006, announced the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Statistics. About half of...

stalking is not rare.
Taken from a Yale study:
1.4 million people are stalked every year in the United States.
1 in 12 women will be stalked at some point in her lifetime.
1 in 45 men will be stalked at some point in his lifetime.

I don't believe sociopathy/psychopathy is a mental illness. A man once said to me that psychopathy is the opposite of autism. Since then I have been dividing people into three groups: Autistics, Neuro-Typicals and Psychopaths. They do indeed not have an understanding of morals and lack sympathy. The...
