I have the same doubt. If someone asks "how are you?" but is not interested in knowing your current mood/health status, then why not just say "hi"? And why can't I say that I'm not feeling well if this is true? Not that I will tell my life story, I just would like to say "no...

Hi, I had and account for what, maybe 6 months... it really didn't make a difference in my "social" life. I actually opened an account just to make it easier to post comments in other websites and, in theory, I thought it could be an efficient way to publish a project I was working on in o...

Hi, I don't know if I have tocophobia (had never heard this term before), but I definetely have strong feelings on these issues. My whole sex life was spoiled by the fear of getting pregnant or having to take care of a child. I'm a biologist and have knowledge of all things that can go wrong, but I ...

I'm a non-believer. Impossible to be in a long (or short) relationship with religious people without sacrificing my peace of mind.

I'm a non-believer, so I may be wrong because I'm not a religion expert, but isn't the tree of knowledge the one that Eve was seduced by the snake to eat its fruits (apple) and consequently lost the Paradise's pleasures? So knowledge is evil according to the Bible book. The more you know, the far yo...

I feel like crying in many situations (sad films, animals in pain, being judged, being misunderstood, etc). The most intriguing one is after an orgasm: I feel an urge to cry and it's instantaneous, cannot prevent it. Other thing: when I cry all my fingers hurt badly. Go figure. Could this be a sort ...

I've noticed Aspie males look approximately their age or older than Aspie females (this might not be the case - it's just what I've experienced). Aspie females, like myself, tend to look younger then our age because maybe some females on the spectrum have problems motivating themselves into making ...

Probably you are not alone. Being Aspie or NT. Eating is, evolutionarily speaking, a social act among primates and many other vertebrates. Maybe that's why we cling to TV's, books, etc. if there's no one (or no one interesting or interested) available... I live in a country where a huge amount of pe...

I guess one fundamental difference between the so-called savants and the experts who have learned how to calculate or developed any other extraordinary skill is that savants don't really need to "think" to do that, they just "know" or technically speaking, the thought process is of a different nature.

I don't miss people. I miss my dogs. Sometimes I miss the way I used to sleep on my mother's lap when I was a child, but I don't think I miss her, I miss the comforting feeling. One possible reason for this is that I tend to think about the negative traits instead of the good ones when it comes to h...

This is an interesting but tricky question. I am hypersensitive to pain, but I'm also highly tolerant to pain. Does it make any sense? After many many years of feeling pain (migraines, chronic fatigue and fibromialgia) I concluded that I am highly tolerant, or my brain has increased my threshold to ...
