This happens to me too,it can last for days.
To me it feels like everything is dark and gloomy, and like it will always stay that way.
It takes a while to shake it,slowly the lights are turned back on,and I will feel like myself again. |

| I have had exactly the same reaction to strobe lights. Before I knew I had asperger's I was certain that these lights could cause me to get an epeleptic insult( I don't suffer from epilepsy) or something,so whenever they happened,I just had to flee. Very strange,trance-like state, just like what you ... |

This is the exact reason I don't like music being played everywhere, the songs get stuck in my head and just won't quit repeating themselves over and over again.
I could do without this "talent" . |

It feels the same most of the time for me too.
The only way I can tell the difference is when I step back and ask myself if I was thinking of someting that scares me,or if it's the noises etc that I'm exposed to at the time.
If I don't take a moment to consider it,it all feels like anxiety to me. |

I can relate too.
I think it is because it is exiting to talk to others about something you really enjoy, but at the same time you want to get the social part right because you want to fit in with a group of people that share your enthousiasm. And it is just too much. |

I also see visual snow a lot,and also swirling colors when it is dark.
I have often wondered what causes these things. |

I do it all the time, and always have.
It calms me,and often I do it automatically when I am reading,or on the computer. |
