I don't hate women at all, at least not any more than men. I've had good and bad experiences with women, in relationships, friendships, and in work environments. My boss is a woman, and she treats me fairly and with respect, even though my social peculiarities crop up from time to time. Sure, I've h...

"Nice Guys" are cowards, plain and simple. They're too afraid to stick up for what they believe in because they fear the consequences, fear being made to accept that they're not all they think they are. They'll manipulate and lie to influence others, because coming straight out and being honest abo...

A nice guy bears his own burden. A nice guy recognizes the burden of his own heart, and doesn't hold anyone else accountable. A nice guy bears this burden--not because he can, but because he must; it is inherent to his nature. A nice guy doesn't stop being nice just because he's been treated cruelly...

I think we are the cure. Neuro-typical behavior, while common enough, strikes me as unnatural. How many wild animals do you see lying to each other about stupid things? How many don't react to sudden, loud noises? After all, sudden sounds could mean danger, and a rational mind pays attention to this...

The only thing I don't like about AS is the connotations of "syndrome." I say level the playing field: Neuro-Typical Disorder . Think of the behaviors of all the creatures on Earth, and then compare that to the bizarre social rituals and zealous need for homogeneity of the NT's. In this light, clear...

“The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what...

I think part of the reason why I feel this way is the fact that I get ignored here sometimes.. Like being an outcast in an area of outcasts. It's a terrible feeling... it feels like high school/college again usually. :/ This is a vast forum. I honestly wish I was so omnipotent that I could manage t...

I find that the most reliable friends have four legs and are covered in fur. The bipedal ones just don't make sense. If only there was a way to remove the need for human companionship entirely.

I just posted this in another thread, but I'll ask it here, too. I declared my Aspergers to be a disability at my place of work, which honors the Americans with Disabilities Act. All I asked for was help from Human Resources when office politics gets too confusing for me to navigate my way through ...
