That's not too horrible. People do graduate work with a 2.8 all the time. At the college I attend they get people into master's programs all the time with that kind of GPA. You just can't be to picky about where you go. I have read that people with degrees in astronomy and astrophysics actually have...

The main trouble with studying astronomy is that even starting at 18, you would be unlikely to attain a position until well past age 30. Even a PhD will not do the trick. The number of positions is very small. However, if you already have most of a degree done then you should certainly finish it. Yo...

Just sounds like typical argument to me. I can't even say it sounds like an AS vs. NT thing. AG

I've been using one since 2009, a Phenom, I believe. I haven't been so overwhelmed. The one I have came with Vista so that did not help. I suppose it matters what you are doing. I am a pretty tame (lame?) user and there has been no great advantage to me. AG

I learned it too well. I did not like it at all. Then I regressed a bit. Dale Carnegie can tell you a lot. I wish it weren't so, but what he says in that book is largely true. At least if you learn it, you will be even better at spotting genuine people when you [very rarely] run across one. It doesn...

Once you give up on this, it will come to you more easily. People like those who are unavailable and confident. If you learn to act like a confident NT, you can get a lot more interest. The trouble is, you will also recognize that most NTs are just awful, and most Aspies are too unique. I personally...

I miss the times at home, with my mother. I don't miss most of the rest. I was treated like trash by people. But I do wish my mother was back with me and I was at home studying with her downstairs. G

I care about people. I just don't kid myself and think it makes a difference just because I do. I am very sorry to hear of this latest tragedy. It is very sad that another person has been hurt in the sick society, but indeed, the number every day is very large. I find it is best to just try and keep...

Gosh, what awful ideas. I don't mean to be jerky, though. It is not easy to see the problem. But here is the problem : You need to fix a sick society. This is not going to happen. Don't tell me this society is not sick or that it's always been sick. In just the past fifteen years, it has sunk greatl...

Well, it seems to me they are getting onto something that is not always recognized - these bullys today are not the other-side-of-the-tracks rough kids. They are sociopaths who are often popular, good-looking, and well off. I was spat upon by them, called all sorts of horrible names, listened to the...

You are right about this, but another factor is the extremely conformist society we are living in. Although all the NTs believe themselves to be individuals, they are actually group-thinkers and this is getting worse, what with political correctness and so on. This makes it harder and harder for tho...

Just go ahead and give up on them. They are only getting worse as their society becomes more and more disgusting. My big problem is having them fail to keep appointments with me. Since they know I will forgive them, they keep doing it - to the point where one work associate made 23 appointments alon...

Not to mention that African Americans, who I think are actually great people to have here in the USA, would basically not exist if not for slavery. I mean, it was a nasty business, but people have to think this through. G I have no idea what to make of this statement. Are you suggesting African Ame...
