41.
I wouldn't go as far to call it a disorder, though. I exist within my thoughts; my body is more of a tool for interacting with the world around me. |

| Nobody really... I tag along with friendly groups to try and 'fit in' a little but I don't have anyone I would consider a 'friend'... at least not any more than people being nice to me occasionally. I'm very quiet so nobody hears me anyway. Suspect that I have social phobia :/ |

Yes, my grandfather just died, and I was a little upset but not because he died, it was my mother crying that upset me. I just don't feel anything for people that aren't very involved in my day-to-day life. Sometimes I feel very heartless |

| Yes. I was even told that I should 'stop being clever' when I asked why nobody would be friends with me. I moved schools eventually and even there a group of people hated me for the same reason. They were constantly trying to get me in trouble with the teacher. Luckily I am in a good school now wher... |

| Well: -I can make eye contact when I focus, but it's not natural for me (when I was little I was told to look people in the eyes all the time! :) ) -I hate loud noises (for example I'm always turning down the music volume in the car) -Very fussy eater (won't eat fish, mincemeat, crunchy foods such a... |

There is another test you can take which maps out where you have deficits as well as telling you if you have NT or AS traits.
It's called the Aspie quiz http://rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php |

| They didn't get rid of a picture, they just swapped it around. But I still hated it because it was in the wrong place. I'm sorry if I seem vague to anyone. I have however done a lot of research into Aspergers and would not be on this website unless I had some idea of what I was talking about. I was ... |

| It's strange that you mention that, because I am the only person in my class that wears a coat to school. I just don't see why I should be cold and wet when I could wear a coat. Being very sensitive to temperature, I would freeze without it. Either they don't feel the cold, or it is to do with peer ... |

| That sounds just like me. Because I do things well, people think I'm not challenged enough, when actually I'm completely overwhelmed by my workload and the last thing that I want are more "challenges". I need less work, not more because I feel like I'm unable to cope. I was crying for about half an ... |

| Hello everyone, I am currently wondering whether or not I have Aspergers. I found out about it around a year ago, and I recognise many of the traits in myself, including: bad social skills (I think I may have social anxiety as well), problems with eye contact (I can do it but when I speak my eyes te... |

| Hello, One of my biggest problems with AS is that I speak very quietly, to the point that teachers, etc. have to come over to me to hear me and I have to constantly repeat myself. I don't know what to do, I just get really anxious about trying to speak loudly which just makes me even more quiet. This... |
