| I am unsure of how autism may effect the refractory period in general, but personally mine is usually long. That is a video aimed at teaching males how to achieve multiple orgasms. This is a short summary of what I remember from the video... |

| I tried telling my friends about it to help them to understand my reactions to things, but when I try to talk about it with them they go very quiet and serious and try and change the subject, like I'm burdening them with the information. Some of them seem to think I'm making excuses for things or th... |

I find I barely need to wipe at all with an adequate amount of fiber in my diet.
You should get 14g fiber per 1000kcal.
So if you get more fiber in your diet you may not find this to be a problem any longer. |

| When it happens to me, my mind goes blank, I either become very emotional or more commonly devoid of emotion. I become unable to make even simple decisions and it becomes incredibly difficult to communicate. I don't want anyone to talk to me, look at me or touch me in this state, I also get very dep... |

| I shower somewhere between once every couple of days and once a year. A big range I know... When I'm doing well mentally I shower probably 2-5 times a week, but it gets less and less as my mental health declines. Like many other things, especially things that are hygiene related, when I'm at my wors... |

| 31. I used to be at odds with being alone a few years ago, I felt very consciously alone and it tore me up that I didn't have many or any friends, I wanted someone to hold and to hold me back... but something changed in the last few years, it's not just that I accept being alone, but I also feel com... |

| I discovered this myself before I knew I had autism. I thought I had a candida overgrowth in my gut (I may or may not have, it is unclear) and went on an elimination diet as a part of treating myself. The diet was strict but I felt MILES better... I no longer felt ill in the morning, my brain fog ea... |

| I do this too, depending on how I feel. At one stage I went pretty much an entire year without showering or cleaning anything and throwing food and rubbish onto the floor of my room as well as dirty clothes if I bothered to take them off. I am not exaggerating when I say my room got knee deep in rot... |

| One idea could be to show her everything in this thread... Or just write down some things based around what you've said in here and show those to her. The problem seems to be one of communication and understanding, I think you have communicated the problem very well here. Maybe also show her a few m... |

I wish people were more open to casual spooning/cuddles.
I wish it didn't take drugs for people to start spontaneous massage trains. |

| I had no idea either of us were on the spectrum at the time but looking back on it, my girlfriend was almost definitely an Aspie. She used to say "mew" some times, kind of like a cat's meow especially when she was having one of those sigh that's kind of depressing moments, but addressing it in a pla... |

| I automatically numb out emotionally[...] Does it go beyond an emotional level at all? Like feeling distant from the situation, like the situation is surreal? Or feeling distant from yourself? This reminds me a lot of my previous depersonalisation / derealisation which for me I think was a coping m... |

| I dislike looking at the mirror at ALL because somehow it doesn't register as my reflection, but as another person, and it gives me that creepy Uncanny Valley feeling (apparently this stems from a form of face blindness or something). Have you researched depersonalisation before? This is commonplac... |

I love weird syncopated non-repetative beats and I love it when you hear in music or read in poetry a part that gives you a distinctly dysphoric feeling inside, you get a shiver down your spine, you stop what you're doing and your guts jump up into a knot! I love this kind of thing! Repet... |

I used to think of it as a huge problem though and I thought I'd share something I learned by looking back on my experiences trying to make frie... |
