Do you believe that your intelligence is in any way superior than that of most others? As if you are basically the next Albert Einstein of the 21st century? And that you know the truth about everything and everyone else is just too ignorant to open their eyes and see what you see?

Just a question derived from my curiosity.

Intelligence is nothing really important. According to my IQ, which I only once tested in the net, I should be gifted at least.
But when I think about my ability to fit in with anything, I am probably really stupid, not wanting to surrender to stupid stuff that is demanded more and more...

I think I just dont care too much what others think about me in that direction.
Let them think they are superior to me when they perfectly fit in.

I dont say that I know the truth about everything, but usually they are at least partly ignorant about that what I use to do.
But, what they will never understand is that social norms are not everything
especially many dont even understand that quite many things are even harmful or bad for a development.
And those that understand it just play the game anyway.

My big weapon is anyway not the IQ, just the ability to create new things by combining whatever things together to one. My creativity.

I think that if aspies would be judged by creativity in solution-finding, then we would score levels above NT,
apart from that we seem to have above average IQ.

For creativity all social norms kind of stuff is just hindering. And for optimal solution finding long elaborate processes are the ones that are needed,
no short time profit kind of thinking.

honesty.
insistence.
exactness.
not too much stupid exaggerated self confidence.
analytical thinking.
openness for new ideas.
drive.
more independence from opinions of others
no fixedly programmed restrictions

typical aspie properties that improve creativity

although beating around the bush (hehe nice picture expression in English)
we are quite capable to ax it off
if nothing else helps by taking randomly down every single branch separately

Intelligence is an abstract concept. Moreover there are different types of intelligence; Factual, Emotional and Social intelligence. Its very possible if not inevitable to have varied levels of epitude in all these forms.

Some forms of information I can absorb better than others. I'm awful at taking directions, lists etc. but I was watching a science documentary earlier with my NT wife who had'nt a clue what was going on but I learnt a great deal from it.

I think people tend to conflate the idea of intelligence with knowledge. Now, I would say I'm more knowledgeable than most other people in that I seem to know more, but thats a different concept. A book is knowledgeable in that it contains knowledge but is not intelligent by anyone's standard.
