Strange Darling.

The movie begins with a frightened, bloodied blonde woman fleeing through the woods from a man with a shotgun. She begs for help from an eccentric hippie couple. It seems as if this woman is fleeing from a serial killer who had been keeping her captive in a horror film shot out of sequence. But is it really what's happening?
First rate thriller that plays mind games with you. Very recommended.

If you enjoyed the original 1965–1968 TV series then you will likely enjoy this movie.

• This movie is respectful of the original TV series
• This movie has guest appearances by many of the cast members of the original series
• This movie is better science fiction than the original series

I liked this when it cam out.

RiffTrax Live: Night of the Shorts, A Good Day to Riff Hard - SF Sketchfest 2015 (2015)
Watched on Pluto TV's Rifftrax channel (just below MST3K)

I've never seen this before, although I've seen some of the shorts individually.

Riffed movies and shorts are not for everyone, but this one can be seen on Tubi TV

Pluto TV has commercial, and my absolute least liked commercial is for a podcast called I've Had It.

RiffTrax Presents: Sherlock Holmes and the Woman in Green (2018)

Sherlock Holmes: The Woman in Green (1945) riffed by Bridget Nelson and Mary Jo Pehl

Trivia:
The Woman in Green (1945) is the black and white original.
Sherlock Holmes: The Woman in Green is the restored and colorized version by Legends Films.

This was selected at random from a Rifftrax Roku app. Earlier I listened to a podcast about Sherlock Holmes. It amused me that this movie was selected at random six hours later.

I do as well. If you are interested, I posted a link to YouTube channel of Stuff You Should Know podcast, about Sherlock Holmes in the Post a Youtube video thread yesterday, before The Woman in Green was selected for me. (I like randomness) The hosts of the podcast, Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant are not experts at everything. There is research and memory, which is sometimes in error. I enjoy listening to them.

In the 1970s, I grew up watching Basil Rathbone's Sherlock Holmes. In the late 1980s, I watched Jeremy Brett, who dethrone Basil Rathbone in my eyes. Then there is Benedict Cumberbatch. I really enjoy Millie Bobby Brown as Sherlock's sister.

I watched Witness to the Mob on youtube this morning while waiting until it was time to take my blood thinner medication (Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism).

The high point of the movie was Abe Vigoda as the mobster Paul Castellano.
