Any other Star Wars interested people (don't like to use the word fan as it brings to mind people who live in basements) out there who are irritated with some of Wikipedia's blatantly incorrect information that they have stated on the Wookieepedia? They can actually be quite vicious with myself getting mocked and ridiculed for offering an opinion that differed from some editor's opinions. I aked why they were called "Star Dreadnoughts" now and was called an idiot. Ironic since I probably know more about this topic than they do (it's been my interest for almost 10 years), but it still rankles. :x

Im a huge star wars fan

as for "star dreadnoughts", theres actaully a class of imperial warship called the dreadnought, antiques left over from the clone wars (read the dreadnoughts of rendili, or pretty much anything by timothy zahn) but they werent called star dreadnoughts. If they were trying to describe star destroyers, then yes, thats just a blatant lack of research on there part.

I gave up on Star Wars trivia after the prequel trilogy pretty much destroyed the continuity established by all previous books and games. The inconsistencies are far too large for retconning to suffice. :)

As far as I am aware, the old Venerator and Victory Class Star-Destroyers that served under the Old Republic were replaced by the Imperial Class Star-Destroyers that served under the Empire.

The Victory wasnt completely done away with, just phased out, the mature Empire has been nown to still use them.

Ive never come accross the Venerator class in any post-Corellian Treety source material, so that mite have been completely scrapped, I dont no.

When the Emperor was resurrected he used an interesting class of "Star Destroyer" that has a powerful main weapon.
