Lockout a surprisingly good low budget scifi thriller from France, starring Guy Pearce. Nothing groundbreaking, just good, pulpy, fun!

I laughed the whole time, from the get go.

Last night I saw the movie: The Five-Year Engagement (2012)
Weird nostalgic feeling to it. A sociologist delaying an engagement based on her own research. strange movie. Would probably watch it again some time later in life. :P

i didn't camp out...but i went to the midnight showing. it was fun. but...the last one aside from a certain scene...didn't seem all that good. felt like the series ended on a whimper...

now i'm predicting a Twlight Potter movie! Vamps vs Wizards!

Punisher: War Zone (2008)

This might be the greatest film ever made. Certainly one of the most fun. I'm not sure why it got such negative reviews; Punisher fans were given exactly the movie they asked for, and it's extremely well-made. Maybe because it's so over the top and, well, silly. Anyone who thinks that all comic book movies must be as serious as possible (i.e. the Christopher Nolan school of thought) will hate it. Anyone who can enjoy a movie like Godzilla: Final Wars will want to own a copy and sleep with it at night.

Bad Santa (2003)

Picked up the Blu-ray for five bucks. Couldn't pass that up. It's got both the extended Badder Santa cut and the Director's Cut, which is nice since they're very different. I can't say that I prefer one over the other. This has been one of my five or ten favorite movies ever since I first saw it, and that hasn't changed since. It's completely and utterly uncompromising, and puts other so-called "edgy" comedies to shame. The Hangover and Bridesmaids can go screw themselves.

Total Recall (1990)

Also picked this up from the cheapie Blu-ray bin. Not much to say about it. You either think it's one of the best action movies ever made, or you're wrong.

Yesterday, I got a chance to go see Argo.

Everyone who has seen this is right, this movie is very well-made
and had some surprisingly funny moments.

The first ten minutes or so of that movie, is still a better love story than the entire Twilight saga. Hopefully now that the last of those movies is out, it can go off in a corner and die already.

Blood And Donuts.
Vampire horror/comedy. As a B movie, it had its moments. The only recognizable actor was director David Cronemberg, who had played an evil crime boss.
