Tusk.

A podcast comedian name Wallace, who is a total a**hole, while in Canada learns about a sailor who had had an amazing life. Meeting the man in the middle of nowhere, the sailor tells him how he had been rescued after a ship sinking by a walrus. Things go horrifically down hill from there as Wallace is drugged and fins his legs amputated. Soon, he is transformed into a human/walrus horror. Very disturbing horror/comedy by Kevin Smith.

I've just watched The Vampire Lovers, Hammer film from 1970, with Peter Cushing, Ingrid Pitt, Madeleine Smith and Dawn Addams. It's one of the so-called "Karnstein Trilogy", based on the vampire novella Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu.

Could have been a lot better with a cast like this, but that's down to the limitations of its director, Roy Ward Baker, I suspect.

I just watched The Usual Suspects and Event Horizon the other day.
After watching TUS I'm pretty sure my roommates think I'm Keyser Söze
Event Horizon wasn't bad

Just finished watching COME BACK TO ME. This movie blew me away. Best supernatural horror film I've seen in a very long while. Based on the book "The Resurrectionist." SO original. Most endings are rosy, cliche, and predictable. Not this. Gotta see it to believe it.

Dead Ringers rules. I love Cronenberg. Have you seen Scanners, The Brood, and Naked Lunch? Those are great too.

The discovery of a severed human ear leads a young man on an investigation related to a nightclub singer and a sadistic Dennis Hooper.

I love both. Blue Velvet is hilarious. Christian Bale is amazing in the Fighter.

The Imitation Game

Whoever has said that Alan Turing is depicted in this movie as a man who was likely on the AS is certainly right. Through his demeanor, Turing comes off as not only being overtly mature, but also childlike.

Brilliant movie with great performances from Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, and Matthew Goode.
