Pretty much the majority of my Halloweens revolve around the Yellow family having the funniest and sometimes scariest tales in television history so here are my ten favorite Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Segements of All-time:

10. Homer3--While trying to avoid visiting his sister-in-laws, Homer unwittingly went into another diemention.

9. The Shinning--Homer gets extremely hostile when there is no TV and no beer at a Winter resort.

8. Terror at 5 1/2 Feet--Bart sees a gremlin while others think that he is nuts.

7. I Know What You Didd-iddly Did--When the Simpsons thought they accidently killed Ned Flanders in an automobile accident, Ned has a secret waiting for the Simpsons.

6. Bart Simpson's Dracula--When the Simpsons went to visit Mr. Burns and Smithers in....Pennsylvania, Bart gets bitten by Burns and becomes a vampire.

5. The Attack of the 50 Ft. Eyesores--The giant billboards attack Springfield thanks to Homer stealing the donut from Big Boy.

4. Terror of Tiny Toon--Bart and Lisa are transported to the Itchy and Scratchy cartoon thanks to Homer's radioactive remote.

3. Nightmare Cafeteria--Bart and Lisa witness something strange when their classmates are turning into food.

2. Nightmare at Evergreen Terrace--Groundskeeper Willy gets burned into the boiler room to become the evil sandman to children.

AND #1 TREEHOUSE SEGEMENT OF ALL-TIME:

Dial Z for Zombies--Based on the George Romero zombie films, Bart and Lisa uncover the book of the occult making the dead residents of Springfield undead.

To be honest, you've remembered a lot of good ones, but you can't rank them. I love them all.

My favorites are all from TOH VII (1996).

The Thing and I:

Hibbert: Care for a drumstick, Hugo?
[Hugo noisily eats his drumstick in 3 seconds, wipes his
mouth, then starts eating the napkin]
Lisa: Mom, Hugo's eating his napkin.
[laughter]
Bart: [from the air ducts] Hey, can I have some turkey?
Marge: No, you finish your fish heads. Then we'll talk. [closes the
vent]

The Genesis Tub:

Bart: Your micro-jerks attacked me!
Lisa: Well, you practically destroyed their whole world.
Bart: You can't protect them every second. Sooner or later, you'll let
your guard down, and then flush: it's toilet time for Tinytown.

Citizen Kang:

Marge: I don't understand why we have to build a ray gun to aim at a
planet I never even heard of.
Homer: Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Those of us in the U.S. will probably be saying that come Wednesday morning... :P

My favorites:

The Homega Man. I like the scene where the missile is headed straight for the Comic Book Guy, and his last words are "I've wasted my life". (Ironically, in the Simpsons Movie, where the bomb is about to destroy Springfield, he reflects on his life and says "Life well spent!")

Fly vs. Fly. Who would've thought that beer and cat ear medicine taste the same.

The Shinning (X)
The Homega Man (VIII)
Easy-Bake Coven (VIII)
The Raven (I)

Dial Z for Zombies is based on a series of 1980s zombie movies, not on the Romero one... the thing about the zombies having to eat brains.

The best scene from any of these is the one where Agnes Skinner is dropped to her death into an intersection from on high by the ghost Homer Simpson who then tells St. Peter that he thinks she would have been the next Hitler, "Good deed done".
