I was so hyper to see season six I I could not sleep till I watched it. now that its over(half way) I find it really lacking

fast run down.

The Impossible Astronaut: Timey whimy. Time can always be changed, people can be saved and Death can be tricked. Unless your life is set in stone and your death is very important(Waters of mars) the most important person in all of time and space is the doctor (pandorica opens) His life is already known because of his future with River Song, so his death will happen. It cannot be changed or stopped without ruining all of space and time(Pandorica opens) The doctor also seems to only be in our dimension and none others(Rise of the Cybermen) So seeing his death is that from(11th) He will die soon and the show will end.

Day of the moon: Area 51 has dwarf star metal so strong nothing can enter or leave it. one. why does earth have so much of it in 1969? If the stuff is so powerful why can the T.A.R.D.I.S go around it? With the Silence dead why do we not see them now that their power is gone?

The Curse of the Black So: If all the holes to other dimensions are closed how did this one space ship fall into the odd creak in dimensions? Even odder when the ship moves why does the space ship follow? Why are only those hurt/sick fall into a trance and not everyone that hears it(maybe they needed the tissue sample to make a link?) If the medical program only can enter our world through reflections Why did she only use water for the most part? Why not use the windows and get the crew?

The Doctor's Wife: “No one can enter the T.A.R.D.I.S” The doctor says this almost every time there is danger, So how does House rip out the T.A.R.D.I.S heart and become the new heart? Rose who had been in/around the T.A.R.D.I.S for at least a few months was only able to hold 1/100 of the T.A.R.D.I.S heart for so little a time and almost dies yet this random girl is able to hold the whole heart long enough to let house enter the T.A.R.D.I.S, build a mini T.A.R.D.I.S and get her body back. Not to mention the other dimensions part of it….

The Rebel Flesh: Why is the flesh able to melt a suit not even acid cannot hurt? If the gangers has everything the original had (down to an illness) why would they fight? A better question would be when they fight wont they fight the same way? Never getting the upper hand?

The Almost People: Why can only the Doctor and Jennifer gangers hear the rest of the flesh? Why is the Jennifer ganger so evil? How did she make a second ganger? If the T.A.R.D.I.S can stabilize gangers why does Amy blow up? And lastly Amy told the Doctor “ganger” (Turns out to be the original) of his future self's death what is going to happen with that spoiler?

A Good Man Goes to War or as I call it “River Song big reveal that does not add up. I’ll skip the army of Cybermen hanging out in space. I won’t bring up the Doctor blowing up ganger Amy(A link he could have followed right to Amy) or River Song being on a date with her Doctor( Hinted at the end of Day of the moon Her Doctor was gone for good) going from end to start about River Song or her real name, Song River. She could not come because it was the day the Doctor falls farther than he ever has (for about one minute) Song reveals she is really Amy and Rory’s child Melody. Seeing as we first meet Melody during the Impossible Astronaut with Silence why did she know nothing of them or what happened in 1969? She was there. At the end of Day of the moon we see Melody Regenerating and by her words/smile it does not look like the first time she has done this so do you think she used up her Regenerations before Forest of the Dead? Also what happened to her body? A time lord power is powerful so did her Doctor come for her and destroy it?

Um...

Can't answer any of that because I try to ignore the complexities as best I can or my head blows up! (not literally speaking!)

But it was still a good series though :)

It was good but was not Doctor like. It was more let's see what we can add to make it look cool.

As have I. it's probably all the continuous plots & two parters - nice but overkill. This isn't a soap - Give me a good one parter anyday!

Martha: Thing is, though, am I missing something here? The world didn't end in 1599, it just didn't. Look at me, I'm living proof.
The Doctor: Oh, how to explain the mechanics of the infinite temporal flux? I know, Back to the Future. It's like Back to the Future. Marty McFly goes back and changes history.
Martha: And he starts fading away... Oh my God, am I going to fade?
The Doctor: You and the entire future of the human race. It ends right now in 1599 if we don't stop it.(The Shakespeare Code)
So yes, River's past is worth diddly - he can still die.

Logical fallacy - just because it isn't mentioned either way does not mean you can derive that conclusion. Besides that universe did have Torchwood, so 'Tooth & claw' should have happened.

mesona wrote:
Day of the moon: If the stuff is so powerful why can the T.A.R.D.I.S go around it?
The Doctor: I'd say zero balance dwarf star alloy. The densest material in the Universe. (Day of the Moon) It can be as dense as it likes - the Tardis simply dissapears into space time - it doesn't have to pass through it.
mesona wrote:

I'd imagine it's the responsibility of a symbiotic species not the Silents themselves. Your stomach bacteria doesn't stop digesting just because you've died.

mesona wrote:
The Curse of the Black Spot: Even odder when the ship moves why does the space ship follow?
It mentions this, they're linked by the same point in space. Very possibly the same rip in space time is keeping the pirate ship there and all.
mesona wrote:
If the medical program only can enter our world through reflections Why did she only use water for the most part? Why not use the windows and get the crew?
It's the best reflection. Windows in those days were worse and largely kept uncleaned - can't spare the fresh water as it's needed for drinking and stopping the wood from going rotten.

Logic fallacy - where's the 1/100 from? 9th Doctor said Rose would die... eventually. We don't know how long to compare.

That's a double negative btw. When did they melt a suit?
mesona wrote:

Human nature breeds violence. Which really is stupid for all the reasons you just listed. If anything the flesh had the advantage due to their morphogenic nature.

What I want to know is why, if the flesh can held in acids, are the gangers so scared of the leaking pipes?

mesona wrote:
The Almost People: ]Why is the Jennifer ganger so evil?
Because Jennifer must have been. The ganger merely unrepressed it.
mesona wrote:
How did she make a second ganger?
Using the euipment lying around and the DNA of the dead Jennifer.
mesona wrote:

You've answered your own question there. It can but it's not an automatic process. The Doctor even says "I've stabilised"
mesona wrote:
And lastly Amy told the Doctor “ganger” (Turns out to be the original) of his future self's death what is going to happen with that spoiler?
Well the Doctor already kinda guessed he was going to die at some point, so he's only really learnt Amy saw it and it's this incarnation. So, not a lot with this little detail.

Lots of armies do nothing...
mesona wrote:

Surveillance, mind you they probably could have another bug in there anyway.
mesona wrote:
or River Song being on a date with her Doctor ( Hinted at the end of Day of the moon Her Doctor was gone for good)
No, she said that would be the last time they kiss, based on the knowledge of him saying they hadn't to date - but she still hadn't had his screwdriver yet!
mesona wrote:

No, it was because this was the day the Doctor discovered who she was. The First law of time prevented her from from intervening.

It's the Silents. Even they were there, she'd have forgetten about them!

Vashta Nertada probably ate it. It's probably automatic lights.

I'm just offering my opinion. I don't want you thinking just because I've responded in harsh sounding tones I'm having a pop at you. I'm just generally tactless sounding.

Dr. Who is very soft Sci-fi, so I don't expect it to make sense all the time. I just suspend my belief.

So yes, River's past is worth diddly - he can still die. :)
But he did not die then, we SAW him die.

I agree with you on this. I am wrong.
I'd say zero balance dwarf star alloy. The densest material in the Universe. (Day of the Moon) It can be as dense as it likes - the Tardis simply dissapears into space time - it doesn't have to pass through it.
I saw the star alloy as a dead lock type alloy. Nothing beats a dead lock so far.
I'd imagine it's the responsibility of a symbiotic species not the Silents themselves. Your stomach bacteria doesn't stop digesting just because you've died.
yes something I can answer back. If it’s a symbiotic species other then the Silents the picture would not have the same powers.
It's the best reflection. Windows in those days were worse and largely kept uncleaned - can't spare the fresh water as it's needed for drinking and stopping the wood from going rotten.
yet the smashed the windows….
Logic fallacy - where's the 1/100 from? 9th Doctor said Rose would die... eventually. We don't know how long to compare
I was using Roses time with the heart and Donna Nobles time as part human part doctor. I figured the Rose was more of a link then Donnas full splicing.

That's a double negative btw. When did they melt a suit? What I want to know is why, if the flesh can held in acids, are the gangers so scared of the leaking pipes?
It is? At the start of the episode we see Buzzers Ganger fall into the pit of Flesh in his suit, they even joke about how much the suit will cost. We also see the second Jennifer Ganger die in because of the acid.
Lots of armies do nothing...
Its not that they were hanging around. They were our dimensions Cybermen. They were all killed(Dalek, Rise of the Cybermen, Army of Ghosts)
Surveillance, mind you they probably could have another bug in there anyway.
He had all those scans of Amy. ONE of them could have been follow the link.
No, she said that would be the last time they kiss, based on the knowledge of him saying they hadn't to date - but she still hadn't had his screwdriver yet!
She only gets his sonic the day she dies so I don’t follow you.
No, it was because this was the day the Doctor discovered who she was. The First law of time prevented her from from intervening.
I was more thinking about the Doctors Fall. He is said for half a minute and then pushes it off.
Logical fallacy - just because it isn't mentioned either way does not mean you can derive that conclusion.
the Doctor linked it. When he was thinking about how the baby is a weapon and thinks back to the Astronaut suit.
It's the Silents. Even they were there, she'd have forgetten about them! .
rewatched the Impossible Astronaut, she did have a care giver.
How do you know she has more than one regeneration?
I do not. I was only thinking about the way she said she was dying. Like she knew she was just going through the regeneration. I was wondering how many times she did it.
I'm just offering my opinion. I don't want you thinking just because I've responded in harsh sounding tones I'm having a pop at you. I'm just generally tactless sounding.
I am happy you did offer your opinions.
