The space for the title didn't let me be specific with the words but the real title is, Movies that You've Watched with an Adult/Parent that have put you in that Awkward Moment scene. Yeah, I'd like to thank Transformers: Rise of The Fallen for that one! I mean, the dogs. Really? Why was that even necisary? Of course I spotted more awkward scenes in this movie but the dogs was the most ridiculous. Mah dad was RIGHT THERE in the same room with me when Transformers suddenly turned into gay discovery channel! Makes me wonder what the reaction of parents were when they brought their 10 yr olds or sometimes in worse cases, 8 yr olds to the theatres and the graphic sexual scenes played right across the screen. Huh, makes me wish I had been there...you know...to see the reactions... and whats wierd is the third transformers wasn't NEARLY as vulgar as the second. If anything, I expected it to be the same content or worse! hmm.

It's actually Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

One time I was watching the movie Cry-Baby with my mom, and it got really awkward when the title character and his girlfriend started French kissing. That scene felt like it went on forever.

Watching "Betty Blue" with my mother. I believe her comment was "Well, that's artistic."

Watching the transvestite scene in The Hangover II with my mom and some family friends. Good lord I wanted to die...

Excalibur with my mom at age 13. I wasn't expecting Ygraine's dirty dancing.

Did you watch the original version released in cinemas with your mum or the three-hour Version intégrale? I can only imagine watching the three-hour version would have been absolute agony, although I must confess that Betty Blue is one of my favourite films.

Oh, yes - and the very first scene after the credits would be very embarrassing if watched with your parents.

I take it you wouldn't watch 9 Songs with her then? ;)

I went to see Munich with my grandmother. The movie has several pretty graphic sex scenes, and a couple with full frontal nudity (both male and female). Needless to say, that's not exactly the kind of thing you want to see with your grandmother lol (especially when she keeps making comments about how sexy the main actor is, yuck!) The movie was actually really good, but I couldn't really enjoy it to the fullest in that setting.

I also watched Mulholland Dr. with my mother once. The movie was marketed as a murder mystery/suspense, but it turned out to be mostly nothing but lesbian sex scenes. After like 20min I was like "I can't take this, you can finish it if you want but I'm done!!"

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011 with my brother and her girlfriend - fantastic movie, but i felt incredibly awkward during both the rape scene and Lisbeth's subsequent revenge rape. To say "i'll be staying single for a long time" was an understatement 8O

Yeah, I don't know that I'd want to watch "9 Songs" with my mother. It's not the kind of music she likes. :D

I was watching the cut down version of "Betty Blue". Actually I eventually saw the full length version which kind of ruined the film for me. It went off on too many irrelevant tangents. The cut down version actually did a better job of telling the story.

Years ago I was watching "Alex in Wonderland" with my Grandmother - When Donald Sutherland suddenly asked another character:

"When was the last time you masturbated?"

I think we turned over to watch the news!

I almost asked my parents to take me to see that movie when it was still in theaters. When I finally watched the DVD, I was really, really relieved that I had decided to wait. I adore Lisbeth though, she is one of my special interests.

Watching the movie "Yentl" with my husband's parents. Some scenes were really awkward knowing how old-fashioned they are.

Oh, there was this annual Asian cinema festival I visited last year with an acquaintance of mine. She suggested we go see a Korean movie she thought would be pretty interesting based on its premise (an affair between a college teacher and her assistent, as narrated by their electrical appliances). Well, from pretty much the start it featured a rather graphic sex scene, and I ws kinda sorta shifting in my seat uncomfortably. But it turned out to not be a bad movie at all, though.

Sitting next to my grandmother while watching Walk Hard in theaters. I'm sure that there had been other awkward movies that she sat through with me, but that was the one I could not escape that awkwardness.

On a side note, I always feel awkward whenever I see a movie in theaters and there's a bunch of sex and nudity. It's probably something to do with me being a virgin or something.

I want to share that I experienced the reverse of this. I was with my mom in the store when she was looking through the DVD bin and picked up Borat. I had not seen it but had an idea of what it was like.

This put me in an interesting position. I could have been the good son and informed her she didn't know what she was getting. But in the moment I decided to be kind of passively mischevious and watch what happened.

This movie wound up being watched with my parents at my aunt and uncle's place and I watched my mom just be mortified by it lol.

It was funny for me watching the movie and watching my family watch it.
