Hmm. I believe this is the one Star Trek film I never watched because it got bad ratings. Is it worth watching then?

Not the best star trek movie, but still better then Nemesis.

Its been a long time since I saw Nemesis, but I don't remember it being that horrible. I actually saw it in theaters. I saw Insurrection in theaters as well. I think the first Star Trek I saw in theaters though was Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country when I was about 7.

Watch it again, you will be surprised.

Mr. Plinkett's reviews of the TNG movies are gold. He lays out everything that's wrong with them in the funniest way possible. The opening sentence of the Insurrection review made me spit out my drink.

Check them out:

I love that movie, and especially the friendship between Picard and (can't recall her name). It's one of the best Star Trek movies, IMO. I didn't care for Nemesis as much. It was a good movie, but kind of devastating for me, in how it ended.

When it comes to TOS and TNG, I love TNG the most, however TOS has had the movies with only 2 stinkers where as TNG movies weren't really that good minus First Contact. Nemesis was OK I guess and I suppose Generations was as well, I mean how often does Captain Kirk and Captain Picard meet. Insurrection was probably the least favourable Trek movie in my own opinion.
