Hi everyone,

I'm Amber, I'm 21 years of age and I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome four years ago. I'm currently studying at university and I'm having a rather rocky ride recently, especially since I've just fallen out with my housemates, who make up the majority of my friendship group. I'd really like to find some friends who actually understand what it's like to be socially uncertain, rather than just judge me for it.

My interests include music, baking, writing fiction (and kayaking - terrifying! I've just started and my co-ordination is frankly appalling). I'm quirky and extremely quiet, but am bubbly, warm and very friendly when my body has just the right levels of sugar/caffeine/alcohol

Being in college myself, I can certainly sympathize with the bad housemate situation; I've definitely been there. With that in mind, I'd be more than willing to talk to you. Feel free to send me an IM, if you're up to it.
