Any chance of having the old WP back please?

In the old version you could go to individual forums and there would be icons on the threads you had previously read to go to the first un-read post. Now that feature appears to only be available if you select "View Posts Since Last Visit" from the forum list. Unfortunately that is going to show threads from individual forums you have no interest in.

Anyway to either restore the un-read post feature on individual forums, or to have an option to configure which forums you care about in the user's account settings?
