If the teacher is a mean teacher, then usually I'd kind of like these kids to be in my class. But if they overdo it, then it does get annoying.

I am teaching U.S. History to freshmen in high school. Many of my kids are weird goofballs, and I've learned to exert my authority by doing things that annoys them. I have a blowhorn that I use when several kids are being rather obnoxious, and I also have my "Detention List." It surprises me to think that I'll be in a middle of a lesson and someone will ask me if I have ever wrestled a grizzly bear. Someone actually did that to me while we were discussing the dynamics of the building of the Panama Canal. Many of the kids police themselves, and that oftentimes helps.

The major thing is that you cannot let their actions get to you or they will hang you out to dry every time.
