Don't you just hate it when people just randomly come up?

I myself REALLY hate this, like whenever I'm waiting outside my English class if my teacher's late among all the others in my class, sometimes people go "Alight mate? ^^" even if they don't know me too well, which is bad enough, but when I try to answer, the words just don't come out right, hell, sometimes they don't come out at all, and makes me look like an idiot.

Anyone else hate this?

I hate it worse when people come up and ask me what I'm reading, or worse, why I have so many books. There are usually only three of them. That is NOT that many. And if I'm currently immersed in a book, does it look like I want you to ask what is is?

I'm quite the opposite. Nobody comes up to me randomly and starts talking, but I hope people will whenever a new person enters the room. Despite being introverted, I would love nothing more than deep conversation with others, and I hate feeling lonely. Being on my own, I just feel somewhat pathetic and worthless.

I hate it when people do that.

People tend to think it's some amazing thing to be able to get a higher education when blind.

It's so irritating to have people constantly come up to me saying things like "Goodness, you're amazing, being -like that- and still in school".

*shrugs*

I like when attractive or rich or intelligent people randomly come up and talk to me. However, I don't like it when annoying people talk to me.

Lion42, I think it's pretty awesome that you can get a higher education and that you're blind, as well. I don't think it's anything completely out of the ordinary, but it's cool, nonetheless.

If it's someone I know, I don't mind them talking to me, though I may not respond. But it also depends who it is and what I happen to be doing at the moment.

I actually like it if, for example, an attractive woman my age comes up to me to start a conversation. Even if they're not an attractive young woman, I still might want to talk if they have something to say because waiting around before a class or in line can be extremely boring. Still, some people don't make an interesting conversation.

Anybody just coming up and talking to me would be disconcerting, because it is breaking from normality. So if a person did come up to me, they could make me more enthusiastic about talking to them by saying something like, "Hi, Can i bother you for a minute?" or "Hi, do you mind if i waste some of your time?" Or "I know it is odd to just come up and talk to you randomly after not doing so all semester, but will you endulge me for a minute?" And i'm being serious.
