Halo 2 had great music. I completely forgot about posting the music to some of the games. I've played those games the most with friends and myself. It definitely was a phenomenon when it came out. I kind of miss it. I have the CD soundtrack for this and the original Halo.

The original Halo had an excellent soundtrack also!



Level with "The Flood" was such a great stage. Me and my friend knew it was hitting the fan when we heard this.

Dark Souls was really good, I played it after playing Dark Souls II. I'd also put a lot of FromSoftware's other music up here too, Armored Core 6 has an amazing soundtrack, The Man Who Passed The Torch and Steel Haze (Rusted Pride) are two of the best. If you're into mech games it's well worth a play.

Halo's soundtrack is also amazing. The Gravemind theme and Covenant Dance are so fun, I use them as inspiration personally for when I'm writing.

Can someone please post some obscure classic & modern BGM?

I think we should have a theme on here for certain game environments

For example, one week someone could post underground themes (caves, mines, sewers etc) then underwater themes the next week and so on...

-artifactual recollection (phighting! on roblox)
-gigglevision 3000 (regretevator on roblox)
-hometown day from those deltarune teasers (not in the free portion of the game )
-the whole omori ost besides the ones that are straight up just ambiance

Daytona USA had some great music. I just was thinking about this track today. This was one of my favorite tracks. The singer's voice is a bit high but it's just a happy song to have when racing.

I should go on Niconico video to look for best underground themes in games...

EDIT: But instead of just choosing individual consoles I want to find the best underground BGM across all games!

There are the well-known cave and mine themes like from Donkey Kong Country (Mine Cart Madness, Life in the Mines, Cave Dweller Concert, etc) but there are also plenty of stand-outs from obscure games I played as a kid that deserve recognition IMHO

The "singer" you are referring to is SEGA composer Takenobu Mitsuyoshi who composed Daytona USA!! !

I am not really into the BGM Let's Go Away but I like Rolling Start lol

I think looking for a compilation video of underground BGM would be the best approach...
