But hear me out. Greifing is quite therapeutic. There's nut something that reads out "Shoot me", on their backs. I can't resist. Some players are cool with team killing and laugh when they die. Some players make the your mama jokes. But just remember it's just a game.

Being paranoid of team killers just brings a whole new dimension of fun... well maybe to me anyways.

Some of my greatest greifs? On Quake 1, (yes the realllly olld one), a player was looking into lava. Since you can't team kill indirectly, I just shoot him with a shot gun and watch him fall in. I'd block the door and ask trivia questions. ha ha ha.

Now Left 4 Dead. That's a team killer paradise. Don't shoot teamates?!? ha ha ha ha ha. Or explode tanks of gas right beside them. Startling the witch, setting off the car alarm. sitting back watching hordes of zombies attack your teamates. You shoot all 3 of them down, and just walk away.... hahahahahahahahahah, or let them get caught by a zombie and then walk away.

Footman frenzy from Warcraft 3. Just build arcane towers and blow up your enemy's base (I can't wait for Starcraft 2). They took this function out of Diablo 1. But dum dum dum I'm a little rogue, and I just got ganked my a sorcerer's lighting floor spell. owwww. Or a great way to grief, build ghouls town portal, kill their base and most of their builders. Move your builder (Acycolyte), and their surviving builders to a creep nook (when the opposing team comes to kill all your bases that you inherited. Build all over the map. Build human towers are the best, they're quicky built cheaply built. The acholyte can just beam in necropolises. And build towers for the orcs or their burrow bunkers, or moon wells all over the map perferably in places where you have to really search. If you're lucky some of their team rage quits... and instead of greifing 2 people you grief 3.

Eric Cartman (World of Warcraft): No Stay back, (To the slowly advancing griefer to just calmly stabs him). Mr Marsh: What ?!?!?! Whyyy???! Why? ? ... (I had someone at work say this exact line, after he asked me for help with something at work. But because he just uses me, and when I make a reasonable request for help he tells me to "F.O." (doesn't exactly say those words, but his attitude to me is such). So I tell him "leave me along I'm busy". Then he says "What!!?/! but but why??? why?".

Blizzard tech girl: World of Warcraft support line...... I bet Blizzard has a file on me. And they've tried to delete me. But they can't. I'm able to kill their admins, and I grow stronger every day ahahahahaha. My victims keep on claiming they'd "report me".

Leeeeroyyyy Jennnkinsss..

Double Dragon 1. Billy and Jimmy Lee can kill each other. Now that's brotherly love right there. On the last level you HAVE to team kill. (to see who gets Marion) lol.

Tokyo War, a tank game where you're defending tokyo from invaders. Driving over parked cars, I shoot my own team. and we still manage to win at the end.

Griefing can be pretty funny. I think the Transformice phenomenon is a good example of screwing other players over being far more entertaining than just playing the game as intended:

That game looks like a colossal waste of time!

And it's the Pee Wee's Big adventures theme too. That Danny Elfman is a genius.

Reminds me of one time I was playing Halo 3, and becaus of team killers I was left alone on my team against a team of 5, becaus of my morals I didn't want to retaliat or give up. Though I have done some in free for all slayer where there was not actually teams but we might talk over short term alliances, I can be quite intuitive and knew when best to double cross them before they would to me. But I greatly frown upon team killing as it looks to me like people are takeing out their frustration with their own life so that they feel like they are more powerfull in a game and so they can be a jack ass which they can not in real life.

Also reminds me of a character in .Hack//SIGN called Sora who in the video game world puts on the persona of a cool assassin like PKer (player killer) becaus in real life he a sad lonely kid who constantly gets picked on.

Personally I rather encourage a healthy gaming enviroment then care about just my own enjoyment.

Pathetically and stupidly wrong. If you deliberately TK in a cooperative game, you are not taking part in the game. You are trying to tell other people that they signed up to play "kill my teammates like a silly muppet" with you, which they did not.

But Team killing is just so fun. And no we don't take out our frustrations out in real life. Well maybe some do, maybe the malicious ones that talk trash like really hateful trash to their victims. Or maybe the ones who delibratly swear at little children (and there are lots of videos on this).

I just do it because it's immature, silly, and a naughty impish thing to do. That's all.

>>> Hey that's what my brother laughed that "they're just mad because they're losing at a game that they didn't know that they were playing called the "Kill my teamates" game!" When people hear about my exploits they laugh and say "you're a dick, ass, jerk" but at least they laugh and think it's funny. Don't tell me you're THAT serious about life that you can't see the beauty and humor in this. How is this any different than when the Hanson brothers from "Slap Shot", movie goes on a thuggish and very funny spree of violence. Where they don't play but only trip the other team, fight in the stands, really mess up the other players, fight with them. Where that player at the end does a strip tease. Why is THAT allowed to be funny (and it is), but not team killing and griefing? It's just a game.

Now then there was this game called "Utopia", where you govern a province in a kingdom. Imagine the shock value you give someone who logs on after hours of serious play, mechanization read the news feed where it says a certain province, has fired all these fireballs, cast meteor showers, kidnapped all your villagers, stolen all your food, gold, and land lusted. Now THAT'S funny. The More impish you can be the more funny it is.

It's like on Super Troopers where all the Shinanagans are cheeky and fun. Now when you make it personal in the game, make racist remarks, swear, and incite hatred, instead of high jinks, and slapstick tomfoolery, silly buggers. Then the Shinanagans become like Trooper Farva's Tragic and painful, and thus become Evil Shinanagans.

Come on now, you've never taken pleasure in playing a harmless pestful Shinanagans on someone? I find this hard to believe, what with box office for comedies are up the ying yang, and I'm sure that you guys contributed to those takes.

As Jack Napier once said "Why so serious??". Why is he allowed to be a hellion and I'm not?

The only game I recall griefing other players was in WoW and nothing beats griefing people in the same faction side. Also, never been tk except on a console shooter. Most of the servers I go to exception of DODS where I expected the FF to be on, doesn't have FF on.

1) That's a bafflingly bizarre non-sequitur. YouTube? :?: What's YouTube got to do with anything? You're talking nonsense.
2) The word is "hypocrisy", and I do not think it means what you think it means. Most people get it wrong, like "platonic."
