how to get back to main menu in Kirby's dream collection?

Ok when your playing a game in Kirby's dream collection (ex: Kirby's adventure) and you wanna stop playing that and play a different one (ex: Kirby 64), how do you get out of the first game you are playing and return to the main menu? This is so embarrassing but I can't figure out how to do it and I lost my instruction manual for the game. Help me please?

Press the home button, then reset.
