Simply put, the average Russian can't afford an iPhone

Zhirinovsky is a grade A cuckoo bird. He does all sorts of crazy sh**, and nobody calls him on it because his few followers are equally cuckoo. You might want to post video of average citizens in Russia interacting with their cops, you will get a very different picture. But Russians don't carry around smartphones, so it's unlikely such video exists. (Simply put, the average Russian can't afford an iPhone.) Russia is a nation full of psychos, where might makes right.

That in itself is a good reason NOT to live in Russia.
