For more than a year, Trump's approval rating has been almost exactly tracking Obama's approval rating during his first term. And that's with 95% aggressive negative press coverage for Trump, and 95% positive press coverage for Obama.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

Trump's highest level of approval since shortly after his inauguration.

Obama's been recognized as the most admired man in America for the 11th year. You gotta know Trump is sh*tting his pants in jealousy.

Pointing to Hillary doesn't work for me. It's too obvious that all she does is feed people what they want to hear to get votes. What does she stand for? What ever is popular at that particular time. If I could actually trust media and they didn't constantly lie perhaps more of the country would put more faith in what they say. I'm not a resourceful guy, but I can easily find people all over youtube that are. None of them seem to make such claims and speak about things that he is actually doing that are benefiting the country. Then to add, it is a fact that the economy is on the upswing and unemployment rates are dropping. That is my way of seeing through the fog of lies and conspiracies being broadcast ever so abundantly.

There are educated normal people who still back Trump, this is the first time I have ever heard anyone mention that Trump, the guy who has documentaries about his success in the business world, actually blew all his money that was inherited? and is borrowing money from other countries to make it appear he is successful. There is a documentary of him on netflix, I'll go and watch it now and see if it mentions that he inherited all his money and made poor business investments and lost it all. I'm already 90% certain that's not the case, but I'll go watch it. If it claims otherwise I'm not going to go for a story such as he paid others to make a documentary about him to make him appear to be successful.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I'm not going to fall for conspiracy theories, many people exist that back trump and are very politically involved and I'm not referring to 'politicians' but your every day average joe.

To be sure, Trump didn't lose everything due to his poor business skills, as he still had plenty of assets, but chances are he's not as rich as he claims he is despite those loans from dangerous foreign sources.
The attack on the mainstream media is born out of their criticism of Trump, something which he has never liked. In that way, he has always admired dictatorial strongmen like Putin and Erdogan who have had a long history of suppressing the press, often through violence as well as accusations of lying. Because the press is recognized in the US constitution as essential for a free society and a free government, this attack on the media is especially worrisome when Trump makes attacks on them simply for being critical.

He attacks them because they lie endlessly, more than him. It isn't a free press. If someone tells the truth about war they get fired. They are the mouthpiece of the war industry. They have launched sick attacks on Tulsi Gabbard already because she's anti war.

Whether the mainstream media lies about Trump is a matter of opinion. In my opinion, while the normally centrist CNN has since taken a definite Anti-Trump stance, I believe they are telling the truth. Again, Trump, because of his over sensitive, over sized ego, can't take criticism, which is why the brown nosing Fox has pretty much become his administration's version of Pravda. The fact remains, there has never been a President in love with all the press, but this is the first one to disregard and attack the media's essential role in free government and free society.

The media has never gone after a President like this before, and Trump can't help himself but fire back. He's a brash New Yorker. They aren't telling the truth and that's a matter of fact, they have run with endless fake stories.

As I recall, there was a constant barrage against Obama by Fox, and before him, Clinton. The difference was, neither of them lowered themselves to that level by "firing back."

Obama didn't need to fire back, the whole liberal establishment did it for him. Plus he's spineless. Clinton bombed Iraq to get them off his back. The press for the most part talked about him like it was the second coming.

Trump has the whole right wing establishment backing him.
Don't mistake being a soft spoken gentleman for being spineless.
Seth Rich's family don't buy into the conspiracy crap.
Steele? That MI6 agent who demonstrated Trump's kinky sexual interest in watersports? Why shouldn't he reveal what he's found? His country - your country - is an ally of the US, and so if their mutual enemy might have leverage over an American President, he has the responsibility to do something.

No he doesn't. And the establishment isn't right wing. He has neocons and neoliberals against him. And they are the problem, not Trump, not Russia. It is war mongering maniacs that have spent over $6 trillion just in Iraq and Afghanistan. The country interfering in US politics is Israel, not Russia
Seth Rich's family don't have the inside information. There have been endless people murdered by the establishment over the years and sometimes the family believes the story sometimes they don't.
Yeah it was a fake dossier. Sorry to break it to you.
Russia isn't an enemy. What you're doing is pure red baiting, even though the Soviet Union imploded 25 years ago. It was the FBI colluding with a foreign agent to stop Trump getting elected as Clinton was the handpicked President as the neocons were starting to back the Democrat party as there was a lot of anti war sentiment in the Republican party. You're definitely not a progressive.

Mueller's time wasting has proved nothing to do with collusion. And it is sickening to call Obama a gentleman. He's a spineless coward and a smiley piece of garbage. He used to sit in his office with his baseball hat backwards and choose who he was going to illegally drone bomb.

I wonder how Trump liking watersports plays into politics? O that's right, it doesn't. What a low blow.

When Trump had been visiting Moscow, the hotel he was staying in has been alleged by an MI6 agent to have been under surveillance by Russian intelligence. There, they recorded Trump getting his jollies by watching two prostitutes (who might have been working for Putin) urinate on the bed. According to this MI6 agent, this incident has been used to blackmail Trump.

Yeah and it's a crock of s**t like most of the 'Russiagate' stories.

It was baseball cards actually. Been a long time.

Trump has cheated on every woman he's ever been involved with. Why is it so hard to believe this?

It's a fraud. It was paid for by the DNC on behalf of Hillary Clinton , the same DNC that stole the nomination from Sanders on behalf of Hillary Clinton. Clinton couldn't win the nomination, let alone the election without cheating. Actually she cheated in the election with this Russia hoax and still lost so then doubled down.

Totally cheated on his wife. At least twice. Caught on tape paying off the porn star one. Deal with it, he's a hypocrite.

Clinton's cheat on each other all the time. I don't really care about Trump's sex life. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Years ago, during the Lewinsky scandal, the Republican mantra was, "Character matters." Now, they do mental gymnastics to rationalize Trump's indiscretions away.
If Bill Clintons lack of faithfulness to his wife reveals a character deficit, then so does Trumps.

I guess you must be pretty mad about Trump waging a civil war in Yemen? How many children did he bomb today?
