Unlike Casey Anthony the scapegoat.....they are the sort of "whitewashed tombs" their supposed friend Jesus spoke of. All beautiful and polished on the outside and nothing but dead men's bones and corruption on the inside.

You do realize Jesus himself was a hypocrite by saying that. The way he treated others was often "sociopathic" in attitude.

Not IF you believe Jesus was without "sin". Not if you believe he was the son of god and all the rest of the things Christians claim
about Jesus.

I don't believe in any of it....I'm an atheist. Many of the people calling for Casey Anthony's head self-identify as Christians.

Casey Anthony is a selfish b***h. You don't need to be a Christian to wish her crap.

These comments are rather infantile and pointless don't you think?

Huh?

That doesn't even make sense. That's exactly what Christians ARE NOT supposed to do!! !

I never said Casey Anthony wasn't selfish....so is everyone else. Furthermore....only the implicit belief in free will can logically justify wishing anything on anyone.

After all.....is there any particular logic in approving/disapproving of an individual Grizzly Bear's behavior
and then wish good or ill on it based on whether you approve/disapprove???

Maybe so, but I sure as hell wouldn't react in such an unempathetic way towards the death and murder of my child.

Even in a world of determinism, people still need to bear some f*cking responsibility for their actions. If we're generally wired to care for the safety and health of our children, then anyone that doesn't go with such a flow because he's too selfish to have any love for others is going to piss us off and make us think that he might as well go kill himself.

Neither would I....but that's not the point. I've already said a million times the women is probably a sociopath. I agree that people "need to take responsibility" for their actions, even as a determinist. Still....I don't see why we can't recognize that it only our emotions which give us this lust for revenge and emotions are rarely, if ever, rational. They certainly shouldn't be making any determinations in regards to what we do with those who do wrong. Punishment (incarceration) should used as both a deterrent and to isolate demonstrably dangerous individuals from society, It should not be used to satisfy our vulgar emotional urges.

There are too many laws and too little justice.

you have spent a "double whooper with cheese and bacon" 's amount of calories in your description of your lamentation, but i have only a single "fry" 's worth of calories available to bother considering the matter with.

Nevermind then.....let the thread die. It's really no skin off my hide as I've said my piece and then some. I do not apologize for one word I've written here however and expecting me to do so would be expecting me to act against what I consider to be my own good conscience.

I personally see no good in implicitly defending someone like Casey Anthony despite her sh*tty reaction towards the murder of her child.
