People can choose to call this "fake news" or whatever, but today, World War 3 begins in the South China Sea:

The virus was just a smokescreen for Chinese island grabs very close to countries like the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia, with the Chinese building military bases on all of those islands. The South China Sea is now full of warships ready to do battle with China on command over "disputed territories" which were never under "dispute" in the first place...enjoy the ride people.
At least this gives me something different to worry about than a bloody virus.

Pray for peace...
first disable your opponents economy with infectious disease , then move against their allies to acquire stategic locations in proximity to there bases .
Somehow this seems reminisent of someone attempting to gain tactical advantage.?
Should be international laws regarding this stuff .

I think it more a case of exploitation/opportunism.

That is exactly what is happening here and there are also International laws against this stuff..thing is that China was never part of the international committee who made those laws and, as such, the Chinese say that those laws don't apply to them, then they drew up their own maps regarding what "belongs to China" and what does not "belong to China" including ALL of the South China Sea and also, all of Eastern Europe through their "One Belt, One Road" policy.
The government of the West has NO idea of how the Chinese military machine thinks....they have probably never played a game of "Go" or read The Art of War in their life...1. weaken enemy. 2. establish many remote outposts and colonies. 3. establish a few centres between them...4. draw lines between all of it (connect the dots) 5. make a net...drop it on an unsuspecting world and claim all underneath it as being theirs.....it's the oldest trick in the book...it is a shame many have forgotten about all the old tricks and now, we are all suffering because of it.

Nazi china.
You would have thought the lesson was learnt.
Not my problem.
Hopefully, I will have died of old age before there is a major conflict.
Let your kids deal with the consequences of Chamberlain-ism.

Yeah, one just needs to see the land mass from Tibet (I have never forgotten) to the Kalimantan peninsula. My question always remains why the rest of the world has let them get away with such barbaric atrocities and human rights violations in peaceful countries just minding their own business for SO long now?
I hope that I don't live to see it either and I hoped for a long life..I don't care much about that anymore....as long as I die before I am forced to take the vaccine, that's good enough for me.
^ Two principle reasons spring to mind:
• during the second phase of the Cold War the PRC was brought into the western network of alliances to prevent a unified communist bloc from emerging.
• The CPC has an arsenal of many thousands of nuclear warheads, and as such is too dangerous to be directly confronted by military means.
That didn't happen in WWI & WWII.
Errr.
I can never tell whether you are being serious or not, but the Nazis famously produced huge amounts of propaganda to first get themselves into power, and then feed the German appetite for war.

This will hopefully continue to hold as a deterrent for hypothetical future direct confrontations.

Yes, hopefully we will not see an escalation beyond actions such as the recurrent “test voyages” through the South China Sea: I believe there’s another one currently under way by US & Australia (at least, they set sail two(?) days ago).
Of course: an array of proxy wars is not “better” for the countries in which they occur, and the situation can be complicated beyond great power rivalry by the involvement of regional powers and second tier countries from outside the relevant region (cf: Yemen).

I get that, some times.
I will have to get into the habit of using "<irony>".
Sometimes I think it so obvious that I am being ironic, that I don't bother.
But this is an autistic website, after all.
And most people aren't mind-readers, like me.
Hitler blamed Poland for attacking a German Radio station, etc, in/pre WWII.
I.E. A False Flag operation.
And:
A committee created by Woodrow Wilson to promote U.S. involvement in World War I changed public opinion, but also led to vigilante violence. https://www.history.com/news/world-war- ... -fake-news
