I do wonder if any of the families of the 170,000 Americans who died from COVID-19 find the humor in Trump's attempts to brush off COVID-19 when he's asked why he didn't more to save lives?

What 'humor'? I don't see anyting humorous about the fact that our children are being sent back to school to be exposed to this deadly virus and infect their teachers and parents while so many of his supporters still believe that this was a liberal hoax invented to hurt their supreme leader.

I would call this BS 'negligent genocide'.

Holodomor killed around 80 times as many people as the number of Americans who have died from COVID-19. Furthermore, it was a deliberate ethnic cleansing of Ukrainians, whereas Trump’s inability to deal with the virus is, if not quite equal opportunity, then at least extremely broad-based. You use the specific example of schools. So far the epidemiology suggests that schools can pretty much open safely. These are not the actions of the genocidal.

OK, so it wasn't 'as bad' as the incident in Ukraine. But it's still very bad.

Trump tweeted that the country has “the biggest ever job gains and “a V shaped recovery” when places are still going out of business and the places re opening are just individual businesses choosing to re open. This is who half the country wants to vote for in November.
