The best, to an extent: The problem is that the extremes will treat you as an enemy unless you support their side (either part of our team, or you are the enemy).

The same treatment as non-voters, or 3rd party voters get in the USA: If you don't vote for "our team" you are helping the "other team" win, and so need to be treated as though you support the "other team".

Oh okay. Well I am also not American either, if that makes any difference as to what team I support. I was just going by my own politics.

I also feel that the big reason why Trump is so hated is because he is a member of the republican party. I feel that if he was a member of the democratic party, and got elected, but made all the same decisions as president, all his haters would be much more forgiving because he is a democrat, so that makes his decisions not near has bad. Unless I am wrong?

From what I remember about the 2012 election, I don't think Mitt Romney was as hated as Trump is.

But could also another reason why Trump is so hated is because he was a cheesy performer like on shows like The Apprentice?

I mean if a cheesy performer like someone like say... Adam Sandler or ran for President, wouldn't just as many people not be able to take him seriously because he is Adam Sandler? Is Trump hated a lot as President because of his prior cheesy performaner curse?

No he is hated because he is destroying our country, does dirty s**t which he always gets away with doing because he's rich, and he is turning Americans against each other violently.

I think you are exactly right. Trump is hated because his is Red Leader and not Blue Leader. Trump is the Left's Immanuel Goldstine just like every republican president in the past.

A couple of twisted logic posts on this page.. justifying trump’s absurd style by claiming that if he did he same things under a different brand name they’d be perceived as good. That’s pretty f’d up.

It’s not F republicans. (Although many of them are in fact vile - especially Mitch McConnell) It’s F trump [i]because trump is reprehensible.[i] Period.

I find some replies here a little odd. People call Trump a tyrant, then complain he wasn't tyrannical enough: "He didn't lock us down sooner! He didn't force the states to lock-down the same way." Basically, you're slamming Trump for NOT being a dictator.

And people have piss-poor short-term memories. Trump was facing impeachment mid-January. If he'd called for a lock-down, it would've been seen as a desperate attempt to hold onto power. In late January, after the impeachment proceedings, he did restrict flights from China, and was slammed for it by folks like Nancy Pelosi, who was telling people to go out and visit Chinatown.

Moreover, most other countries didn't begin their lock-downs until the same time the states began them in mid-March. When did the UK lock-down? When did France lock-down? When did Germany lock-down?

It's like people here are just in love with blaming Trump for things beyond his and their own control.

No one is supporting Trump because he is under red and no one is against Trump because he isn't under blue. This is just absurd logic. People support Trump either because they agree with his ideologies or because they are still naive and still believe his lies. Like an online friend told me poor people on food stamps may support Trump because they wrongly believe he will give them jobs as a handout and magically make their lives better so they are not concerned if he cuts their food stamps. Yes these sort of stupid people exist. This also shows how selfish humans are in general and they only are about their own well being and don't care about other well beings because it is not their concern.
