Ever wondered why African Americans are so physically dominant over wh***y? being locked in the bottom of a ship for months without adequate food or water, warmth, hygiene so then those strong enough who survived that ordeal then had to survive being violently assaulted, raped physically and psychologically while being forced to work 18 hrs a day in the hot sun doing back breaking work for 400 years.

Is it any wonder really that the progeny of this continuous physical and mental, soul destroying torture are perfect physical specimens of humans. Of course you have to be to survive mentally and physically. Any wonder sports coaches and army recruiters want African Americans.


Not sure what to make of this post.

My point was that Blacks have a more varied genome than all other races. So thats why they go to extremes in sports. Blacks both in Africa itself and those in the African diaspora in the New World.

The "Middle Passage" certainly was lethal, and killed something like a third of the cargo of slave ships. So that might have had a selective effect on the descendants of the survivors. It might help explain why some New World athletes like Pele, and Magic Johnson, excelled. But it wouldnt have anything to do Blacks back in modern Africa.


Exactly. The worst thing about his post is that he might have actually made a interesting point but it was lost in the other 90% of his rant against "wh***y"

Yep so the reasons are
1. Super diverse genetic hybrid vigor in the population
2. Slave traders capture the strongest
3, In shipping slaves to the coast the weakest die
4. Those left are put on ships for months/years and the like an episode of hunger games those with weak immune systems unable to cope with sea sickness, malnutrition, cold, lack of food and water are further culled
5. Multiple generation of slaves doing backbreaking work for 18 hr days 365 days a year (throw in daily beatings, wippings, rape and mental breakdown) so that only the very strongest, mentally strong survive.
6. The children of these survivors are therefore among the strongest, smartest and sturdy people on the planet. They had to be.
7. They produce athletic supermen like Carl Lewis, Michael Jordan, Florence Griffith Joyner and Serena Williams

There is also another aspect which I think may be too sensitive for some to mention.
It is a pity intellectual discussion needs to be so cagey. :roll:

No, I don’t believe “black people are genetically good at basketball.”

I believe certain ethnic groups, some (not most or all) of these which originated in, or still live, in Africa, are “genetically good at basketball.”

Beyond being “genetically good,” one must go through “many hoops,” so to speak, to make it to the NBA. As well as practice hard, learn to be a good teammate, comprehend a coach’s system, etc.

Many Africans from West Africa who were sent to the New World to be slaves—were not “genetically good at basketball.” The Wolof, for one, tend to be of average height and relatively stocky.

People from the Amazon tend to be quite short....yet are spry and can jump high. They would make excellent ball handlers on an NBA team, “genetically.”

I feel like we should learn from black history, and the histories of other ethnic groups.

We should acknowledge the suffering which racial "minorities" have gone through. I also acknowledge that discrimination on the basis of race and ethnicity exist even today.

However, I do not feel guilty for "being white." I am not a slaveowner, nor have I oppressed people who are not white. I don't believe in people feeling guilty for "not being Jewish."

My fondest wish is for "affirmative action" not to be necessary.
