Conservatives don't breed more here. Also not to be confused with American use of the word conservative, similarities but not the same thing. As far as I know there's the same percentage of Conservatives who are secular as the other parties, religion is RARELY discussed in politics her, this is intentional.

Win for democracy and Britain gains independence and freedom. A bunch of corrupt bankers in Belgium should not dictate terms to Britain. This is a great win for British nationalism and keeping Britain for Britain.

Ok...you know better, but I find it hard to believe that religiosity doesn't affect conservatism/political choices.

Given that apparently Cambridge Analytica were working for Leave, I'm not sure it's even a win for democracy.

Religion really doesn't have that much to do with politics here (so far as I can see).

I'm not sure whether 'no religious affiliation'= atheist .

Yes, confusing term, I couldn't even tell you whether I had a religious affiliation or not. Do they stop people in the street and ask them? how rude :o

Oh, maybe it's from the census, but I don't see how they could connect the votes to the census unless they compared areas which is a bit big brother, voting is private for a reason. Anyway according to the 2001 census 390,127 people said their religion was Jedi :D .

Capitalism has been saved in the UK. Brexit will be done and 5 years of UK building strong economy to secure it economic future. UK loves Boris Johnson and he will reign as PM for a very long time.

Well this little section of the UK (my house) really can't stand him but I imagine "reign" is a very good word for what he'd like to do.

Boris Johnson may be a moran but at least maybe now brexit will actually happen, deal or no deal.

England has had 3 years to figure out a deal and now has to leave no questions asked.

He won 43.6% of the vote yesterday

He won a large amount of constituencies which gives him very solid power for the next 5 years, but it's hard to say the UK 'loves him' when the majority of voters didn't even vote for his party

Obviously to the working class mind potentially subjecting the disabled to even more mistreatment was a fine thing to do so long as Brexit is delivered.

I don't detect much affective empathy in that .

If you live in Lincolnshire then it’s possible you have just voted for one of my friends. Total policy nerd but also very committed to his community.

Brexit is likely to cause chaos,at least in the short term, for exporters and importers. All shipments entering the EU from outside it must be declared to Customs in the EU country at least 24 working hours before arrival. This means that UK exporters who normally work to Thursday or Friday deadlines to meet vessels sailing on a weekend will now have to change their entire manufacturing processes to have the shipments produced and fully documented by Wednesday.Failure to have the documents finalised and requiring later amendments will result in additonal charges or even Customs fines. They will already have additional costs to declare the goods to Customs in the first place if they were previously under Free Trade.
To add that it was a victory for English nationalism not British.

He seemed genuine, if a little naive. I think really I was just impressed he had the balls to go for it.
