Would this song be offensive to a very religious person?

the vocals probably sound better in mp3 as this is what I imagine Celine Dion or Sarah Mcloughlin rockin out looks like.

At first I thought it was Lacuna Coil, which is a band I actually like.

what are the hidden meanings of the song? In a cultural sense, I can see how it is offensive( It's just another annoying atheist metal band complaining about the ills of christianity) but taken at face value and minus that cultural context, it isn't offensive.

With increasing religiosity, at least in the USA, certainly for epistobapterians, there is increased propensity to take offense.

Truly religious people are never offended.

I have never met any. Have you listened to "The Future" by Leonard Cohen?

im amazed anyone still knows the name,
the man that tried to kill the artist 18 months or so ago was recently exiled.
