Life death trap or nivarna? Is knowledge really power?
What is truth? What is society? Do we really exist in this world? Do you think you have the power to change who you are? Do you really think ignorance is bliss or do you think the more knowledge one has the less ignorant they seem to appear to others? On the other hand do you think knowledge can dull your capacity to simply think and observe the world around you? What is morally right or wrong? Do you think religion is true or false? If everyone is ignorant in some sense then who is right or wrong? Does it really matter at all. What is evil or good for that matter? What is strength to you? Determination, will power or plain stupidly and ignorance of ones own limitations? Why are we afraid of death when we know it will be an undeniable fact? If death is a certain undeniable fact about life itself then why are we afraid to live? What is thought itself? Are we really humans? Who gave us that name? Do you think you have control over your own mind? If not why do you think so? If you do have control over your own mind then why is there a need to consciously "control" these thoughts ( whether rational irrational prejudice etc)in your mind? If this is the case then who Ais this YOU? These are just random questions that probably have no significance? Is there really an answer to any of these questions? I wod like to hear your opinions and thoughts think as deeply and as freely as you like ![]()
What is truth? Truth is the opposite of false. When something is true it means it can be proven.
What is society? Society is people + buildings + beliefs + transportation + the world outside your window. It is life from your own self to the horizon.
Do we really exist in this world? We exist because we can sense our existence in some form or another.
Do you think you have the power to change who you are? Certain things can be changed (like your religion or course of study or your husband or your drug of choice. You can't change your height, race, etc.)
Do you really think ignorance is bliss or do you think the more knowledge one has the less ignorant they seem to appear to others? Ignorance is bliss. No worries, no problems.
On the other hand do you think knowledge can dull your capacity to simply think and observe the world around you? Knowledge is power and increases your capacity to understand.
What is morally right or wrong? Stalking children on a school bus is morally wrong. Helping an old lady cross the street is morally right.
Do you think religion is true or false? Religion is true. People go to church, pray to their gods, observe rituals, etc.
If everyone is ignorant in some sense then who is right or wrong? Who says that we are all ignorant in some sense? That needs to be referenced from somewhere else.
Does it really matter at all? Right and wrong matters. It keeps order and balance to the world.
What is evil or good for that matter? Genocide is evil. Driving a bus of explosives into a schoolyard is evil. Listening to music while drinking iced tea on your front porch is good.
What is strength to you? Strength is being able to say no to drugs. Strength is resisting the urge to punch someone in the face.
Determination, will power or plain stupidly and ignorance of ones own limitations? Will power is a good barometer to how strength can be measured.
Why are we afraid of death when we know it will be an undeniable fact? I think everyone realizes life is a gift and also have a hope that it will get better with time.
If death is a certain undeniable fact about life itself then why are we afraid to live? Who's afraid to live? Somewhere between birth and death one must remember to live.
What is thought itself? I think therefore I am. Thought and being complement each other it seems.
Are we really humans? A rose by any other name smells just as sweet. He could also just be called bipeds or earthlings. Names don't matter.
Who gave us that name? Like a lot of words, probably Latin-derived.
Do you think you have control over your own mind? Most of the time. When I'm drugged out? No, of course not. Schizophrenics? Barely.
If not why do you think so? The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Not to mention it's a very fragile glob of matter.
If you do have control over your own mind then why is there a need to consciously "control" these thoughts ( whether rational irrational prejudice etc) in your mind? With no control there is chaos and disorder.
If this is the case then who is this YOU? You are who you are.
These are just random questions that probably have no significance? These questions could be important to someone, maybe you, maybe philosophers.
Is there really an answer to any of these questions? Sure there are. Some questions actually answer themselves, too.

Excellent answers all. Nice and concise too.

(14.01.b) cogito ergo sum confusus
What is truth? It's when you're not lying.
What is society? A culture that people live in.
Do we really exist in this world? If we don't exist in this world, where do we exist?
Do you think you have the power to change who you are? You mean, change my identity, become a completely different person? No. But some parts of me will change whether I want them too or not. That's called growing.
Do you really think ignorance is bliss or do you think the more knowledge someone has the less ignorant they appear to others? Both
On the other hand do you think knowledge can dull your capacity to simply think an observe the world around you? No, knowledge helps with that.
What is morally right or wrong? If I told you everything I considered to be morally right and wrong, we'd be here all day. Redrobin has a good answer to that question. But in the end, you have to decide for yourself.
Do you think religion is true or false? I don't know. I don't affiliate myself with a religion because I like to keep my beliefs open-minded. Anyway, there's more than one religion, and if they're all right, we'll find a lot of contradictions in the universe. Then again, there are already a lot of paradoxes. Then again, religions often have contradictions within themselves.
If everyone is ignorant in some sense then who is right or wrong? You have to decide that for yourself.
Does it really matter at all? I think so, but that's just my opinion. You have to decide for yourself.
What is good or evil for that matter? See What is morally right or wrong?
What is strength to you? Physical strength is muscular power. Mental strength is standing up for what you believe in and having the courage to be yourself.
Determination, will power or plain stupidity and ignorance of one's own limitations? Determination and will power
Why are we afraid of death when we know it will be an undeniable fact? We don't like the thought of this existence ending. We don't know what will happen after death. People are afraid of what they don't understand or know about.
If death is a certain undeniable fact about life itself then why are we afraid to live? People aren't afraid of living - people are afraid to live the way they want to because they don't want to stick out.
What is thought itself? Thought is connections being made in your brain, and there is electricity involved, if you want to take it from a neurological perspective.
Are we really humans? If we aren't, then what are we? If we aren't, then what are humans?
Who gave us that name? We did.
Do you think you have control over your own mind? Yes. If I don't, then I don't have control over anything.
If not why do you think so? N/A
If you do have control over your own mind then why is there a need to consciously "control" these thoughts (whether rational, irrational, prejudice, etc.) in your mind? To prevent everything from turning into complete chaos.
If this the case then who is this YOU? I am me. That is the only way I can answer that question.
These are just random questions that probably have no significance? I think they're pretty significant.
Is there really an answer to any of these questions? People have to find their own answers to these questions.
Okay, now that I have answered all of your questions, I'll ask one.
Are you going through and existential crisis right now?
