Birthrates are already going down. In some places birthrate has already dropped below replacement rate. If the USA didnt lead the industrialized world in teen pregnancy even the USA would have negative population growth.

So what the Walrus said basically.

As a guilty meat eater, I will say that meat eating is a much bigger problem than overpopulation.

And fill the earth,it looks full to me.Is it time to harvest the humans yet?Proper management of any game species means culling the herd at times.

I'm lenient.They get two kids,one is a spare.

Just look at how many kids are in foster care,it looks like we already have plenty of children to go around,just no one wants a used kid.

So why have your own?People adopt more pets than foster kids.Why should people that don't even take care of their own children be allowed to breed unrestrained?Child abusers should be fixed,and there should be free sterilization options.

It s not a matter of "god" doing anything. It is human beings who need to stay away from this fable about a "God." Population would even out if religous crack heads would stop telling their adherents that birth control is evil. Religion creates overpopulation, and thus poverty. Human beings simply need to educate themselves instead of allowing themselves to be ruled by sky fairies.

Overpopulation is a myth and an evil one at that, birthrates in the west are actually too low and are already threatening the future of our welfare systems. The global fertility rate is only 2.47 with a replacement level of 2.33, globally we will be below replacement level very soon and will peak out at 8-9 billion before shrinking for the first time since the plague in the 14th century. Poverty and hunger aren't caused by overpopulation, there are plenty of resources to support way more than 9 billion people, the problem are these resources being mismanaged and exploited
