Ruveyn was rude, but quite right. I thought Don't suppose that people can think! when I've heard about all-in-one and this old scrap Tupolev. Polish pilots are great, but this one was a) forced b) stupid. Flightrecorders will tell us.

Ruveyn, don't worry, USA also has some chances with this percent of stupid ones! You know, polnische Wirtschaft and stupid Americans. Both are stereotypes, but if first can come true...

Ofc I don't wish anyone any tragedy.

Doesn't take a brainer to know that we're not immune to these catastrophes.

Anyway, I find this sad. My heart goes out to the families and friends involved.

I think countries should invest in transportation better, and buy new planes. Iran should learn from this tragedy, and seriously invest in their other infrastructure, rather than their "peaceful" nuclear program.

The president is probably to blame. He tried to sack a pilot and shouted at him in 2008 for refusing to land in bad conditions.

Don't blame the Soviet-era aeroplane, blame the fact that they did not follow instructions from air traffic control, and this was probably because the president insisted that this happen.
