Getting back to Horbeck's appearance, I'm surprised he removed his piercings. Was it his own decision?

Really, I have no idea. But what if the piercings weren't his idea in the first place? I mean, this guy (the kidnapped, not the boy) has already proven him nuts. He could have considered it a plus. (*shudder*)

I feel so sorry for the kid. Even now he can't really rest, because the media is critizing him (speculating why he didn't run and what not), and someone will always remember/know who he is.

And I suggest that we put Sylvia Browne up for trial too. What a selfish ploy and what a fraud.

Not only that his parents are parading him around ("Hey lets go up to Chicago even though you have only had a few days to recooperate so you can be on Oprah"). I can see Ownby doing that, as from what I have seen I doubt anything bad happened to Ownby (they guy seemed patient if he keeps a boy 4 years, also there is much evidence that someone in the house, persumbly one of the younger 2, played alot of video games during those days) but seriously what kindof parent would do that to a child that has been gone for 4 years!

I know. I heard they went up to see Oprah, and I was thinking, you cannot be serious. And then, to top it all off, they're speculating (on national tv) whether or not he was molested. They haven't asked him though because they were advised not to. So they have no proof, their kid's been gone for four years, and they're showing him around, talking about what might have happened to him. (As if the kid's not scarred enough as it is.) Way to have empathy for your child.

That child is going to be scarred for life. To make matters worse, it seems, as if, his parents are trying to make a quick dollar out of his ordeal. I wonder if his parents actually really do care that much about him. I mean, what parent in their right mind would have him appear on Oprah a few days after he was found.
