Lecturer At Yale Event Fantasizes About Murdering Whites

Interesting how those in the American media whose primary purpose is the defence of the 1st amendment when it comes to bashing minority groups are suddenly doing the very thing they claim to be defending against?.
The hypocrisy and double standards practiced by those defending the conservative right is amusing.
Encouraging injury or murder of another person that might incite violence is not covered by the 1st amendment.
Neither is how your private employer reacts (unless you've got tenure).
Employment law related to terminations differs widely state by state in the US.

I'm just making it clear that even though I support her right to say what she said I don't believe she's insulated from backlash any more than when someone gets fired and people blame it on the woke mob.
Not every consequence to speech is an inherent free speech issue.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.
Yes I agree, her employer and medical accreditation body are entitled to act within the bounds of their code of ethics.
However I question whether circulating her comments outside of the rarified atmosphere of a psychiatrist seminar was deliberately intended to stoke trouble designed to cancel her and her voice.
The intent behind her cancellation was (in my view) opportunistic.

Ok. Some states have at-will employment regulations which mean employers can terminate employees without notice who do not have a written employment contract for any non-discriminatory, non-retaliatory reason and the employee has no recourse. This was a visiting guess lecturer and not an employee of Yale. In that situation, Yale can do whatever it likes.
This lecture is the exact type of racist stereotyping that Iowa seeks to prohibit. Even worse it potentially incites foments violence and is not protected speech.

She's clearly an incel.
they both speak of murder a lot and very graphically was my point..
but nobody invited Eliot to yale for a vent.
Oh, because its from Yale it must make sense and Im out of my place to investigate?
why not tell me to my face?
it is like you are talking to that other guy because you assume I cannot understand what is going on with yale and this woman like you and cyberdad can?
wow, just wow..
one problem I have with this speech is she claims to be speaking metaphorically, but doesnt explain how this gore is a metaphor for anything, leaving me wondering if she has her own private meaning of the word metaphorically
the other is her claim it is linked to PTSD, when it seems like a parody of PTSD, which I actually have.
pSTD can get you sounding toxic and priveledged, yes, but this is over the top and demented.
Has anyone heard an actual victim of racism speak so toxically and violently towards whites?
her own accusations of racism against her are very weak, a joke..
specifically her accusations of racism getting in the way of her 'scholarly' carreer! lol
Im not seeing much scholarship in her rantings. I smell Narc..
Nothing against her swearing though, I do that to but Brain gets on my case.
Elliot rodger acted on his psychopathic urges...
Dr Khilanani was role-playing a fantasy in front of her colleagues for the purpose of a learning experience.
She may have psychopathic traits (which she chose to share) about what she would like to do to people who get in her way but then so do a lot of people (including white folk). All this hysteria and this tiny little woman isn't going to do anything to anyone.
Much ado about nothing,

In an official lecture called “The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind,” given by Aruna Khilanani at the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Child Study Center, Khilanani graphically described her fantasy about killing and burying white people, saying, “I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the heads of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a f*****g favor.”
...
The audio, which can be found here, includes a number of racially charged remarks directed at white people, including, “White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time,” as well as, “We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall.”
Khilanani’s animus against white people extends into her personal life, as she noted that she had made it her goal to “cut out everything white,” describing her motivation behind cutting off white friends and leaving institutions she considered too white.
“There are no good apples,” Khilanani remarked. “White people make my blood boil.”

But extreme right bad, right?
Tell a person they are worthless enough times (despite evidence to the contrary), and they will come to believe this, and act in that manner. Similarly, tell a person they are inherently racist enough times and they are likely to decide that if that is what is expected of them, they should take on that behaviour.
I will say, it is interesting (and quite hypocritical) to have "racial prejudice" explained to me by a person with a predilection for weaponising race to demean others\their message...
If you lack self-confidence, and I don't.
They only need a small number - even one example can be enough for them to justify their actions to themselves.
Any reasonable/rational/objective/intelligent person will see the unwavering pattern of behaviour.
Don't you think it self-evident that people who display extreme bias destroy their own credibility, and those who simply engage in mindless groupthink display a lack of intellectual integrity?
Some people are only interested in engaging in social intercourse using a debating platform and are not interested in a discussion, with the intention of mutual, greater enlightenment.
It is amusing to me how some people simply embrace a narrative, regardless of any hypocrisy embedded.
It is interesting how some people "lie through omission" when their ideology is in conflict with their political position.
Credibility, integrity, and the respect for the Truth is in very short supply in the world.
Humanity.
Disgusting creatures.

ok
I think she has been dealt with within the circle of her medical colleagues, Remember it took a conservative journalist to dig her transcript from a uploaded lecture at Yale and then publicise it. Her colleagues at Yale did not report her.
She isn't some hopeless uneducated 8chan incel, she's a practicing mental health specialist for whom she has had thousands of clients who have relied on her expertise to deal with their disorders (I am sure she has autistic clients as well).
If she was not successful at her job she would not be running a medical practice or be invited to lecture at Yale.
