This is a weird situation. It is inexcusable that the guards fell asleep and falsified their records to say they were checking on him. This is especially when you consider that Epstein had many powerful friends that he may have dirt on, and we're not just talking about American politicians, but also people like Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has been known to have people assassinated in the past (like Khashoggi, the Washington Post reporter, who he had murdered in Turkey). That doesn't mean that's what happened, but either way in a case like this the guards should have been doing their jobs and watching over him.

Cenk Uygur mentions that the way the guards fell asleep and falsified their records, and during that time Epstein died (presumably from suicide) the day after being taken off suicide watch and not long after his cellmate was moved to a different cell so Epstein was now alone plus the sound of screams coming from his cell around that time, was the perfect way to launch a thousand conspiracy theories.

Which seems more likely:

You gotta be kidding!

2. Overworked guards in the understaffed prison working in a brutal system that kills countless people through malice, negligence, and incompetence every year? This seems likely.

3. A cowardly old man seeing no other way out of a situation he put himself into after decades of forcing minors into sexual slavery, and then hanging himself the day after a dumpload of damning evidence and testimony against him was unsealed? This seems more likely.

None. It wasn't Trump and the Clinton's. Once the foreign state has had its use out of tje asset and they are a problem, like Robert Maxwell they are dealt with.

And yeah man, he went to bed and decided to get up at 6am and kill himself

I read CNN that guards were sleeping on the Job.

another motive for his suicide was that a civil suit was going to wipe out his net worth leaving his heirs with nothing.at least now his family will inherit his money.they cant make a civil suit against his estate because he is now dead and cant defend himself in court.once someone is dead all there court cases against them are dismissed

That's garbage and CNN isn't a legitimate news source. Epstein was preparing his case with his lawyers. He wanted to live and still spread his DNA. He would have ratted to get a deal as he couldn't handle real jail. The negligence tripe is just hilarious given he was the most important prisoner in the world.

It seems to me we been lied to so many times by the media, our elected officials, and the intelligence community, we'd have to be braid-dead not to question a story that doesn't add up. And this s**t doesn't add up! We're expected to believe that an inmate in a federal facility, who already tried to kill himself once, would be taken off of suicide watch? Uhhh kay! That makes total sense. That security camera was broken! -- Uhhh kay! The guards were overworked and tired! Uhhh kay!

If none of the people charged with keeping Epstein safe until he could stand trial aren't fired, then we'll know it wasn't merely negligence.

It wasn't a broken camera, there was no camera. If it was a genuine suicide attempt a couple of weeks ago he would not have been taken off suicide watch, especially a prisoner of that importance. You get people who will just swallow whatever their state media tells them, ironically that shape shifting ninja Russians got Trump elected.

just heard on the radio news that the medical examiner's report talked about neck bone fractures NOT consistent with an ordinary hanging, IOW it could also have been a strangling via a beefy set of hands or a garrote.

Ghislaine Maxwell has been found! Let's hope 'incompetence' doesn't lead to her 'suicide'.

This is Epstein's cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione (I am not joking):

While this may indicate strangulation, the fractured neck bones, the bed-sheet around the neck, and the body hanging from the bed-sheet lend greater credibility to the assertion of suicide.

"Oh, no! A broken hyoid bone clearly indicates Hillary's involvement in the Chappaquidick affair..."

It is a capital mistake to theorize in advance of the facts, insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

A broken hyoid bone is more likely in suicide as a person age increases,in a 66 year old you would almost expect a broken hyoid bone in a hanging.the hyoid bone develops slower than other bones and is shaped differently in younger people than older people

People who don't understand that many citizens distrust the media/government narratives of things haven't delved deep enough into 9/11 and the controlled demolitions that happened on that day. :)

I applaud all who question things and don't blindly accept what their masters tell them. :)
