Yay aliens! only kidding

The author clearly has not heard of cryopreservation where even today the technology exists to put a living organism in stasis and be able to resuscitate them. The concept has been in science fiction for decades.

Yep, Ellen Ripley did it in all the Alien movies.

Humans have survived space travel, and if you think about it, humans are aliens when in outer space.

Of course, humans have never gone any farther than to the moon, as far as I know.

I believe Voyager left our solar system some years ago so might bump into some alien ship who would be most curious why we are advertising our existence. I imagine the native americans never sent bottles with notes hoping a spanish galleon would pick one up saying "come her and take our wealth"

The original question requires speculation to answer.  Belief, fiction, and imagination prove nothing.

All great scientific breakthroughs come from imagination
