US family tries life without toilet paper

odd, sounds a bit too amish for the city or urban living (in a building that has a doorman) about the TP thing, sounds a bit unsanitary if no toilet paper, are tehy useing like a bedet or something to keep clean there?? no tp usage sounds uncomfortable espially after they do a #2.


i do remember seeing on tv there was a reality show that was plotted to the colonial times or all amish and no technology and not even a flushing toilet, using bathroom was in an outhouse or pee pot under bed


i guess this family is trying to be like the duggers in arkansas??? accept without the 18+ kids.
if i had the choice to give up all to dress eat and act like them, id probably not make it and want my computer back!!

I believe the Amish are allowed to use toilet paper--- they don't forbid that.
I think it would be easier to implement this idea at home, but not in public where your stall/toilet might be far away from the sink--- I mean, how would you wash your hands and your bottom??? And if you used your hands, how could you be expected to pull up your pants with those hands without soiling them, since the sink is outside the stall?

maybe they're very flexible, and just do what dogs and cats do... on second thought, probably not... if they could do that, they'd never leave the house...

sounds....lovly, good luck to them though, i wonder how long they'll last....or maybe they'll just use leaves or something

I read some years ago that 98% people living in civilized world buy toilet paper and that toilet paper is the most often bought product in the world.
